Disney Dining - they can't count to 90!!!!

I phoned earlier for a PS (the new name escapes me) for our first night dinner on 8/6 and was told to call back on 5/10, when it was 90 days in advance. I had used the PS calculator but just to be sure I counted out the days and sure enough it was 90. I called back and got a different CM, who had no trouble with the date. He was very gracious and at the end of our call wished me a Happy Mother's Day too!

I'm just glad I wasn't calling for popular meals like Cindy's or PSB - because by the time I redialed they'd probably be all gone!!!

Not necessarily. I called for PS for another restaurant and I jokingly said, "at least I am not calling for CRT. It was actually late in the day. She was able to give me CRT for two days earlier than the day I was calling for.....and for 10 people at 8 am!

Wow! Do you think that it is the PSB effect, the fact that lunch and dinner at CRT are character meals, too, or that, supposedly, Cinderella is the only princess at breakfast? Probably a combination of all of those things have made CRT breakfast an easier PS.

Seven previous trips; PS, now AR every night for dinner, some for lunch. Explain to them that you used the calculator and the days are correct and you will not get a problem.

yup - today is definately the 90day mark for Aug 6
I start calling next Sun (15 days at 7am) for Aug 13-27

So im going from Aug 12-17. if i want to make ressies for the 16 i need to calling next monday which is 90 days to the 16th or do i call 90 days prior to our arriving date?

A CM recently told me I can make PS's for my arrival day at the 90 day mark but I will have to keep calling every day after that for my subsequent days of the trip. Or I can wait until 90 days from my DEPARTURE date and call for all of them at once. I don't think we are trying for anything that will be extraordinarily difficult to get, so I might wait until 90 days from the end of our trip. HA HA HA!! Who am I kidding? Even if I have to call back every single day for a week and make one PS at a time that's exactly what I will do. I couldn't stand to wait an extra 6 or 7 days!

Besides, the CM I spoke with might be WRONG!

HA HA HA!! Who am I kidding? Even if I have to call back every single day for a week and make one PS at a time that's exactly what I will do. I couldn't stand to wait an extra 6 or 7 days!

yup - I'll be calling at 6:59am for 15mornings in a row! Im not one to sit and wait till the end and play the what ifs

Maybe I just got lucky... I was able to pretty much book everything we wanted on the days we wanted. The only "problem child" was CRT and I had to take an early dinner at 4:45pm (all PS's for 8 people).

BTW, I heard that the PS are now AR's, but when I called the other day to make a few changes to the PS/AR the recorded messages still called them PS's.... so... I'm just going to call them "reservations"!
