We had such a blast on our first trip to WDW! It was so cool getting to sample different types of foods at Epcot.

Boma was the standout winner on our trip. It a little pricey, but worth every penny! Don't hesitate to try it if you're at all curious.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about any of the places we ate at.

Thanks for the quick review.

No questions really, glad you had a great time. :goodvibes I agree about Bomas-we like it too.

We haven't eaten at Biergarten in about 10 years. I think we'll have to go again next time (Sept 09). It'll be the first time DD9 goes. Oh, so I do have a question-did you have any kids with you-and if so, what did he/she/they eat at Biergarten?

This isn't my thread, but I'd be happy to share what my 4 year old eats at Biergarten. First of all, this is the one restaurant she always asks to go to....even above the character meals! We have a tradition and always eat here the first night of our trip. The schnitzel is made with chicken and is basically a fried chicken breast. The potato dumplings w/hunter sauce is similar to mashed potatoes and gravy. The spaetzle is a pasta dumpling and there is macaroni and cheese. The rolls and pretzel bread are very good also. They have several desserts, but my favorite is the strudel w/vanilla sauce.

I think it is a great restaurant for kids, and my DD loves the polka show and we always stay for at least two performances. Enjoy.

Thank you for the reviews!

Just curious was there anything that really stood out at Cosmic Rays or Flame Tree BBQ? Or was it just typical CS in comparison with good TS (Boma's)?
Those are both places we have on our list and I'm just wondering.

Also not my thread, but I'll answer. :) Flame Tree is one of our favorite CS at WDW! It's much better than typical CS places; better quality, better portions, etc. If you don't like bbq, though, probably not for you.

Our favorite is the pulled pork sandwich. It comes with corn on the cob and baked beans. We've heard the ribs are good, too, but we've never tried them.

Cosmic Rays... ppl love it, but we think it's noisy, crowded, and smells way too much like the condiment bar. Lots of choices, though.

I am interested in what you ate at POP. We are going to stay there for 3 nights in Oct and are planning on a lunch/dinner there.....

Dizneydaz - we don't have kids yet, so it was just the wife and I.

msce2 - The chicken meal at Cosmic Rays was really good. The seasoned green beans that came in the meal was delicious! My wife had a hamburger that she said was "ok". We both had the bbq beef sandwich at the Flame Tree BBQ. It was good, but it was a little greasy/oily. These are good counter service places, but they don't hold a candle to Boma!

MickeyNicki - At POP Century, we had the pancake breakfast platter, lots of fruit (fruit cups, bananas, etc), and a large pizza. It was all pretty good and the prices were reasonable (by Disney standards!)

I was going to post a link to my blog where I posted a bunch of vacation pics, but the board said I didn't have enough posts to post a link to my website. So if you're interested in seeing them, send me a private message and I'll give you the link. :)

Welcome to DIS! I'm glad you liked Boma and Biergarten. We're trying those two next trip as well!

Thank you for the info! Glad to hear Boma's was good too. I think that is the one I am looking forward to most.
