Problems getting ADR's for mid Dec?

I tried to get an ADR for Le Cellier today...it said that everything was full...so I just picked a different restaurant. I've read that it is really popular...so it probably fills up quick. :confused3

I was thinking this too but I called at 180 plus 6 days out for ANY lunch time. It makes no sense that it would be booked that early. I also tried various other days that week and there are NO openings? That is just plain impossible!

I believe that they have not booked the times into the computer yet.

I hope to either find a direct number to call or find that on Monday things are working properly.:headache:

It might be because there are a lot of Disney fan meets in early to mid-December. The dates of these group events have been released for awhile now and ADRs are one the first things to be booked. Been having trouble myself snagging some.

Every Ecpot TS restaurant for lunch that does CP Packages? For ten days straight? Not buying it.

I went online at 180+10 at 6 am. Agreed!

Since it's just the Epcot TS restaurants that offer the CP Package, ITA. The CM I spoke with at 4 am PDT this am said last year they didn't start booking CP Packages until August 26th last year.

She also said that you can book at CP Package with the DDP, but that even if you dine at lunch they still charge you 2 TS credits  I really hope she isn't right about that.

I had tried to get ANY possible time...they dont even have dinner times available. At least not online. I hope you find a direct line! :thumbsup2 I just gave up and picked a different place.

Confirmed that all CP Packages require 2 TS credits, regardless of when you dine. :sad2:

I don't want to give up and pick somewhere else; for our family, it's been a tradition for years that we have lunch at Le Cellier every Christmas trip.

It's frustrating that the powers that be at Disney Dining don't have it together enough to release some seating times for regular ADR's while setting aside a percentage of the seating times for future CP Package booking in August. They expect us to plan 6 months in advance and commit to it, knowing there will be very little flexibility if we wanted to change our plans. Yet they can't get their systems prepared 6 months in advance?

It's the uncertainty of when the regular ADR times will be loaded into their computer system that makes it a shot in the dark of getting the ADR you want...unless you're willing to commit to checking on the boards or calling Disney Dine every day. :headache:

I have to agree, if you are going to offer 180 +10 then make sure to have availability at all of your restaurants minus CP packages. For those of us who just want to eat there and not fight the CP package deal, its a slight bit unfair

Something is obviously going on with Le Cellier in particular. I was on a few minutes after 6am for my 180+10 and there was nothing for lunch available any day of my 10 night trip from the 14th-24th. So either they haven't loaded them yet or there are a lot of really fast people booking adr's

Same thing happened to me today 180+10 and nothing for Le Cellier lunch for all 10 days we are there.

Does anyone know whether or not disney changed their reservation number from 407-wdw-dine? I was trying to call them today and couldn't get through. I just want to make sure I have the correct number.

Hi

I tried phoning times too and either couldn't get through or the phone just rung out, not even a "Disney, you're in a queue" type message.

When I phoned technical support I was told that the websites (DVCmember.com and waltdisneyworld.com) and phone lines are down for an "enhancement". They expect them to be up and running again later today.

Hope this helps

I was talking to Disney Dining when it went down. The CMs all apparently looked at each other. My CM told me it was a PDM - Pixie Dust Malfunction. Given that it does not sound planned this could be a bit.

I check the online system at least once a day, but it's getting old fast.

I was lucky and was able to get a 12-23 dinner at 700 for Le Cellier - I was surprised it was even out there as I know they hold quite a few of the ressies back for CP. I want the CP package for 12-26 so hopefully they release soon and I can cancel the 12-23 dinner.

Is it time yet to make reservations yet for Christmas day? Maybe with +10? Maybe it was too much for the system to handle.

Lunch reservations have now opened up! I just got mine for Dec 16th! :cool1:
