Hi all,

We head out on 21st May for our second trip to Disney! This time we are spending our first week staying at Coronado springs, we have upgraded our dining to the Disney dining plan.

Myself and my husband will be taking our 2 1/2 year old. We were wondering if our son will get any food included or is he to 'eat from our plates' or do we need to buy him food?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Louise

under 3 it's 'eat from your plate'. My son turned 3 a week before our last trip and because he was already in the system from his last trip I had to purchase the kids' dining plan for him, and half the time they never charged him the credits.

edit: when making reservations you still need to include him in your party's number; he just won't get charged. This is where buffets are great! Make sure you hit Crystal Palace at MK and do the Disney Junior buffet at Hollywood Studios! If your child can handle loud music Biergarten at EPCOT is a must.

If you are booked at buffet and AYCTE meals, your toddler will be allowed to have his own plate and there will be no charge. If you are at regula TS or CS restaurants. He can share with you, or you can purchase a meal for him.
