Disney Dining Plan? Who has used it?

Anyone used this plan? What's it entail? Where can I get info?

We used it in January and were very happy with it. Definitely a bargain! We totally got our moneys worth out of it.

I am meeting my brother and his family in July and think this could be a great savings for his family.

Problem: We are going with a group for a Dance Competition and are already getting our rooms at a group discount. Can we add dining to this?

Go to the Disney Restaurants Board right here on the DISBOARDS. There is an entire sub-board devoted to absolutely NOTHING but the Disney Dining Plan (see up at the top of the Restaurants Board).

(We had the free dining plan last year and it was awesome. I'm not sure we'd get our money's worth paying for it - because DH and I just aren't that into sit-down dining.)

Me and DH just used it. We had never really ate at any of the table service resteraunts in the past since they are so expensive.

We LOVED the dining plan. Some of the meals for just the 2 of us ran close to $100! We got our moneys worth.

Actually, the plan includes so much food that I'm still not hungry and I've been home for 2 days!

Worth it so much! With prices down there we ate like royality. We ate in places we might have only gone to 2 times during our visit, we ate at every night.

Nope, sorry, you cannot get this. Only people who qualify for the Dining plan are those who pay rack rates for rooms that include at least a 1 day park pass for everyone in room. Or, if you are using DVC points to stay @ a DVC resort in WDW.

Cannot get an AP discount or room only rate and get dining plan..sorry.

It was definitely worth the money for my family.

We used it for 8 days in January...and we will for our 9 day trip in May.

Can't wait!! Just completed my final ADR!!
