Disney Dining Plan Question

Was wondering when does Disney usually announce their Free Dining Plan schedules? I plan on going Nov2015 and was curious when they release their schedule so I can book as early as possible.

In years past, the free dining has been announced about tax time in April but only would apply to the periods of the end of August through about the end of September, sometimes the beginning of October. Then if they were going to extend the free dining with dates in November and December, those would be realized at the end of summer.

This year however, they shocked us all by including all the dates when they announced the free dining offer. This occurred a bit later than usual, I think it was right at the beginning of May (I promptly booked my November stay!!)

So I think you need to be tuned into the boards and/or checking the Disney website by mid April. Free dining, if it is going to be offered, will start surfacing around then. Whether they throw in the November dates at the time for 2015 is to be seen but hopefully this timeline will help you.

Glad I could help. I bet it will be offered since it has been for the past 3+ years. I would just put in on my calendar for next April and start the hunt. I will tell you that this year, they offered the free dining through the end of the year but unlike in years past, Port Orleans was not included in the moderates. That was a disappointment as we had just tried that for the first time last year over staying at the Values and loved it. Good luck. I think you have a good chance of getting it.
