Disney Dining Plan Question

Hi, currently for my vacation package to Disney I have the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan set up. I was wondering. If at the end of my stay, I have extra meals left over may I trade them in for snacks at the gift store? Do you get only one snack per meal? or do the get an amount of snacks equal to a single meal credit which I think is about 20 dollars or so.

You will probably get varied replies on this. I had left over Snack and CS credits at the end of my trip. I used the snack credits at the resort store for Goofy Candy that we gave to my DD friends as gifts. They gave me a pin lanyard with a pin for each of the 3 CS credits I had left. Not sure if this is "typical" or I just got lucky.

Maybe you will be allowed to trade CS (or DXDP meal credits) for several snacks. Ask before you do it. It depends entirely on where you try (resort food courts seem to be the most amenable) and perhaps even on the specific cashier you ask. It will also depend on the place itself as to how many snacks you will be permitted to take.

Every year I go and use the dining plan. I always use my credits. My friend always has credits left over. We both usually drive to WDW and every year he goes to the Earl of Sandwhich the night before or the day he leaves and uses all credits to buy sandwhiches and chips, etc for the trip home. He does this every year. Just something to think about.
