Disney Dining Plan 5 credits

Is that for a party of 5 (meaning one meal) or one person for 5 days?

For Adults only and 5 credits these would be what I would probably choose.

Ohana
Boma
Rose and crown
The Wave
Homecomin’

Runner-ups:
Garden Grill
Sanaa
Biergarten

You will get different lists from each person! Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.
Atmosphere and overall experience are a huge factor for us and not just the food. Our top 5 1TS restaurants not in any order are:

San Angle Inn
Ohana's
Kona
The Wave
Coral Reef

Other favorites:
Boma
Chef's de France

I second O'Hana and Boma - Homecoming is not on the Dining Plan this year. I'd also consider Turf Club at SSR, Wave at Contemporary or Narcoose's at GF. We also like Teppan Edo in Japan at Epcot.

1. Cape May Buffett
2. Chefs de France
3. Garden Grill
4. California Grill
5. Something cheap because California Grill was 2 credits but worth it.

You sure Homecomin isn't on the Dining Plan? My reservation states it does accept the plan.

3 adults, 5 Table Service credits

I'd use 3 at Cape May Cafe Seafood Buffet. That meal is expensive and a great way to spend your credits. The food is also very good.

I'd use the other 2 at Sanaa and pay OOP for a bread service appetizer (it's only $13) and perhaps a salad sampler and a couple desserts for the table to share. We find that the food there is pretty easy to turn into a family-style meal. I recommend the meat trio and would probably get 2 for the table to share.

Edit: I misunderstood, I thought you only had 5 credits total.

I’d do:
‘Ohana
Biergarten or Cape May
La Hacienda
Boma
Tokyo Dining

1900 Park Fare
The Wave
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package
Coral Reef

It largely depends if you have children that want characters so this answer will vary greatly. Also depends if you enjoy Fantasmic or ROL (our family doesnt care for ROL but we love Fantasmic).

I'm always OOP so I'm the worst to ask for dining recommendations (we came this close to getting the DxDDP but opted to just bring down a ton of gift cards)

If you have picky non adventurous eaters:
50s Prime Time Cafe
Rose and Crown
Via Napoli
Garden Grill breakfast
Teppan Edo

Sorry I have no TS recommendations for Magic Kingdom, I've only done BOG dinner and while it's a BEAUTIFUL castle, it was unfortunately a one and done for me under it's current set up.

The only TS in Animal Kingdom I've done is Tiffins (which I LOVED)

We are eat in the park people, so here are a top picks for 1-credit meals at each park:

MK = Jungle Navigation Skipper Canteen
EP = Akershus (I enjoy the food and I like the characters, but if you are averse to a character meal then I'd say San Angel Inn or Biergarten for the ambiance, or Via Napoli for the food)
HS = Fantasmic package at Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood and Vine if you like characters; Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose if not
AK = Tiffins (if you are willing to spend two credits at one restaurant--it is so worth it). None of the other TS are that great, so Tiffins is really the only one I can recommend.
