I think I have lost my mind I'm now having nightmares over planning our trip with DXDP!!! I will be able to make ADR's on the 10th but I don't know if I will make it until then. I dreamed last night that all the the restaurants we wanted were booked and we paid for DxDP and could only eat junk food! LOL :rotfl:
I think I need to take a Disney planning break!

We've all been there, whether it's ADR's or looking for good resort/flight deals. I assume you have planned where you are going to eat all your meals by now and have some second choices lined up in case your first choices aren't available on any of the days. I am sure you have done a great job and I am guessing that you now have everything planned and have the agonizing wait until your window opens. Am I right? The problem is that after so much intense planning, when you hit a gap you feel a bit "purposeless" for a while - nothing more to be done - and then you use your idle time (ha ha, usually don't get spare time planning a Disney vacation) worrying about whether your planning is going to pay off. Fear not, it will. I usually get the blues from the trip planning aspect once it is all done and dusted and then fret about ridiculous things .....! Have a little faith in yourself my friend. It doesn't have to look perfect on a spreadsheet. If you get most of what you want you're a winner and the perfection aspect is what YOU make of it when you get there. Deluxe Plan? I think you should pat yourself on the back for a job well done! :thumbsup2

I'm so with you. I've already made ADR's for our trip in Dec. --then joined TGM and decided some park plans days weren't good ---then one dc decided they might be a vegitarian --etc.

When I told dh I had two dreams this week involving WDW --in in the park and one w/ dining ---he told me I needed to forget planning and just go let it happen. He also thinks it's sad that I dream Disney.

I don't even tell my husband anymore when I have a Disney dream! I'm afraid he is going to have me committed!:rotfl:

:ssst:
Same here...I have all our ADR's set and booked for Dec and I spent about 5 hours today working:surfweb: on them. My husband thinks I am :upsidedow.

So glad I'm not the only one. Planned our last trip for a year, and drove DH absolutely bonkers! Just started planning the next trip and made one comment to him and he goes "IS this all I'm going to hear about for the next 7 months?" I didn't have the heart to tell him YES, that is all you're going to hear about it. Get used to it. :lmao:

Count me in on the Disney Dream can't think about anything else club! Even though we have our ADR's done, I'm still obsessing over it, rethinking and debating about ordering a cake, where, what kind, when??????

I read in a magazine once that happy housewives spend lots of time planning vacations. While I'm not a housewife, I certainly am happy planning our next Dis vacation!

Have a great GASTRONOMICAL vacation! :rotfl2:

I don't have to report my Disney Dreams to anyone. I am a single mom with one little girl. This time no one is going to know because the next trip is a complete surprise - no one knows except me and the Disney reservation people. It is going to stay that way until the morning we leave. So I guess I can count myself blessed through the lack of sources for criticism .... :)

I feel your pain. Happens to me all the time. Just take a break and all will work out. :goodvibes

You will have no problem getting what you want.

IPO booked our ADRs on Tuesday and pretty much everything is still available for our dates as of today including Le Cellier ever night of our 8 night trip. Don't worry :)

We planned our November trip in the beginning of September and I was stressing about getting any ADR at all. Somehow though we got every one we wanted on the exact day we wanted them. I was so relieved. I still stress about them though.... ugh why is it that we worry so much. :rotfl2:

We are able to book on the same day and I am right there with you. We booked through a travel agent on the East Coast so that I don't have to get up at 4 am to make our ADRs and I can't decide whether that is a relief or even more nerve wracking since I am putting our dining fate into someone else's hands.

Good luck and I hope you get everything you desire!

I know how you must feel. When i was making ADRs for our trip in August i was so obsessed all day long with revising my ADRs (i got everything i wanted just some late times on some of them originally). With two months of hard work i did get the early times i wanted and landed some other goodies. We are going again next year and will be making my ressies in February, i just know i am really going to start stressing out as the time gets closer to make them. It wouldnt be unusual for me to dream about it either.

oh I hear ya! I've had to take a few day breaks here and there between planning, booking and then the DINING!!! I finally did it though!!!! My husband will see me sitting at the table with my head in my hands and just shake his head like I'm nuts...any vacation after this one will be a cake walk is all I can say...
