We are going to Disney World in April (right after Easter). We currently have two bookings at Akerhaus for breakfast on 04/26 - one for 8:10a and the other at 10:45a. I would really like to cancel one soon but I don't know which one. Is it better to do this breakfast early or later in the day??

I also have a breakfast reservation at the Crystal Palace of 4/28 at 8:10a. There are five people not including a 2 year old and the reservation says we may be setaed at different tables. Does anyone know why? I don't want to have to separate from any of the kids as it will cut down hugely on our experience - ie seeing a little one mesmerized and an older one (preteen) shy or not knowing how to react to a big character!

Any other recommendations? We've been to Disney 4 times before but never did the character dining. Any advice would be much appreciated.

IMO Take the 10:45. Get there for rope drop get FPs for Soaring...then go ride Test Track after that pick up FPs for Mission Space then go eat and you will have all rides covered with these FPs w little waits.

Should I book a later breakfast at Crystal Palace?

What about Chef Mickey's? Is this worth it for little ones?

is the CP on an extra hour morning?? if not keep it - you get in the park before it opens to everyone else (park usually opens at 9) - you can't get fp until the park opens

I enjoyed Chef Mickey's - if you don't want to wait in line to see the fab5 then do so if you can

i would get to park early and then go to 10:45 breakfast, we try to avoid breakfast meals as it cuts into prime touring time....

All of my reservations always say that we may be seated at different tables and all of my reservations are just for 2 people. It is something that they put there to cover themselves in case it absolutly has to happen. I know that sometimes restaurants despite their best efforts have to seat large parties at seperate tables but this is definately not the norm. CP has a lot of large tables so honestly I would not worry about being split up AT ALL. Have a wonderful time:thumbsup2

Busy week.....
Get to park early....and FWIW if you are on DDP I would do lunch and use a snack credit for bkfst.
Happy planning

BTW Akershus is great. Don't waste the early morning hours while most people are sleeping in a restaurant.

Thanks so much for the advice. I fear we may be the people that usually sleep in and wander to the parks at 11a. The early breakfasts might be the only things that get us up and moving!
