Disney Dining Experience

Tried searching, but all I am getting back are old posts.

My dh and I both have APs. I am planning on calling to order the Dining Experience card tomorrow. Do they still email or fax you a document that you can show as proof until your card comes in the mail? We are going in May, and I don't think it will get here if processing takes 4-6 weeks(why does it take so long? Don't they just have to process payment and double check the person has a season pass?)

I just ordered a new DDE card on Monday. I didn't receive an email or fax but didn't ask for one either. She did tell me to call back if the card hasn't arrived by a few days before our trip so they can send the temp card to Epcot.

I think the 4-6 weeks is a conservative estimate. Our last one arrived in a couple of weeks. We're going mid-May and I'm not worried.

Don't worry. It took over 6 weeks to get my card this year and I did not receive it in time for my December trip. I just called DDE the day before I left and they took care of everything.

All I had to do was drop by Epcot Customer Relations (I think that is what it is called - it is the booth outside the entrance) and show my ID. There was a letter there waiting for me that worked just like the card for the entire trip.
