NEW GRATUITY POLICY!
Beginning on January 1, 2008, DDE will have 18% gratuity added to all transactions regardless of party size.


Okay correct me if I am wrong but doesn't this mean you only save 2% if your savings were 20% and then they add 18% gratuity?

The DDE has always just basically saved you the tip amount, no real change.
We normally tip 20% of the discounted total, so 18% of the original total comes out to about the same.

We usually tip 20% too, so it looks like we'll save 2%.
