Thanks, Jackie! I really would love to have a gardenia, too, but it gets just a little too cool during the winter for it, or so I've been told. I think they are beautiful, not to mention how divine they smell!![]()
Oh!well they were blue but I dont take sides between Carolina and Duke bc I am originally from Jersey and have friends that like both teams. I enjoy watching both teams but I am still a professional sports fan over college sports! who knows if that will be true in a few years!!

Really? I can't imagine it gets colder where you are compared to where we are...I would plant a little one and just see how it does.We have them lining the fence in the back, and they do fantastic.
I've finally made it, Michelle! And I'm already 5 pages behind! Wow! The pictures of your flowers are absolutely beautiful - I love hydrangeas! They also make me think of my grandmother, her yard was (and still is) full of them.I'm hoping to incorporate them into my wedding!
Can't wait to hear all about the trip!![]()
Are you near Atlanta? We are in the extreme northwest corner of AL---Tennessee is only about 12-15 miles north from where we live.
But I should try one. I think I may..................![]()
Im here. Cant wait to here more. You have a wonderful looking family
Well, thanks Michelle!I just planted a hydrangea this spring - I hope it grows up to be as pretty as yours!
I forget what kind of soil makes them that way. Is it acidic or alkali?
Kathy
We live about an hour from the Tennessee border. Try one and then, if it does well you can plant more.I am such a sucker for gardenias -- I even had them in my wedding bouquet.
I'm joining and YES, I'm a man(A TR I joined 3 weeks) ago they thought I was a gal

Are you kidding me?I teach MATH...............no science terminology for me!
to my TR, Amanda!
I see that you have a graduation trip coming up soon......Would you happen to be going to Disney World?
Hey, I'm just a shade less confused about it than you are!
No, seriously, I know that you can change the color of the hydrangea by changing the acidity of the soil... that's why some are pink and others are blue.
Kathy
Yup, going to the world!![]()
