Thanks, Leanne. We had a good weekend---It was plenty hot, so we did some swimming, and little else! Hope you had a good one, too!

Our VBS kicked off last night at our church. I volunteered to teach the one year old class---What was I thinking? It actually went ok,---one night down, three more to go!

I think I needed an more interesting title for my trip report. I was hugged by a stranger as they sang happy birthday to me - but it ended up being a friend that was walking by at the time!

Well, that's pretty funny----a stranger who was a friend? I'll need to check that out!

VERY serious!! 3,295 to be exact!!

Wow - when I tell people I took 939 they look at me like I've lost my mind so when I saw Barbara's (disney<333) 1,648 I thought OMG! But 3295!! That's incredible - you go girl!

Before we go very far---Actually, I guess, before we even get started----on this trip report, I thought I’d share some souvenir pictures.

Kevin picked out this shirt at the last minute---I was literally standing in the check-out line when he decided to walk back across the entire WoD store to pick this shirt up.

The girls both picked out the same shirt! Elizabeth chose pink, and Rachel chose green.

The funny thing is that I bought this same shirt in purple during our March trip!


Reid wanted some more of the Disney racers. For you DIS friends who have girls, and never stop to look at this sort of stuff---The Disney racers are these little cars (think Matchbox style) that look like Disney characters. He has gotten two or three of these during every trip he’s made (and we bought him some home during our March trip when he didn’t get to go). This trip he chose Donald Duck and Pluto.

He also had told us before we went that he wanted “some pins, like Liz and Rachel has.” So we helped him choose a lanyard, and then he got two pins of his choosing.

He was really proud of himself for riding ToT this year (He doesn’t typically like it), so he wanted a ToT pin and the other he chose was an Expedition Everest. He really thought he was a big kid when he got this.

I chose a new coffee mug---something I knew I’d use every day, so I’d be reminded of Disney daily! They had so many to choose from, but I didn’t want to spend $16 on a mug, plus I’m pretty particular about how a coffee cup “feels” in my hand. So, I finally chose this one.

I also picked out a dated 2010 Christmas ornament.

I choose a new ornament every trip for our family tree. Most of them are in this same style, just different years.


I also got these little button-style fridge magnets for my sister, as a thank you for letting our dog stay with her while we were gone. I know she’s reading this TR, so SURPRISE sister!

That’s all we bought on this trip. There have been years where we went overboard with the amount of “stuff” we’d buy at Disney World, and then trips, like this one, where we just the opposite. I think the fact that we’d made three other trips since last May helped curb the amount of things we bought on this trip. We’d seen most of the same stuff for at least the past two trips.

I'm joining in too! Your trip sounds awesome and I can't wait to hear about the Beach Club as it's one of my dream resorts to stay at someday. You have such beautiful flowers in your yard and they almost look straight out of Disney. Can't wait to hear more!

Those race cars are really cool; my son would have loved them when he was younger. I love the button magnets; I usually get a new magnet every trip and that way I could get a whole set!

Yay for souvenirs! Those shirts are so popular. It's funny because when my parents and sister went in Jan. they had such a hard time finding them. Then when we were there in April we saw them everywhere. haha

I didn't see who grabbed me at first - I was on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. The rest of the people on my tour just looked at me weird until I explained to them that was my Dis Friend - Andie!

Great souvies. The girls and I match Elizabeth! Thought it was so cute that I got a FB frind request from Rachel. I so wish we lived closer-she would be such a great role model for my girls!! Elizabeth too.
