Disney Dining Dilema

So here's my problem.

Character meals- alot of 'em.

We are @ GG for Breakfast our first day @ WDW.

Akershus same day for a late lunch.

Fast forward to 3 days later, Chef Mickeys for Breakfast.

Last day of our trip we are @ AK, and I have Tusker House set.

We've been to Tusker House before for lunch and I'd rate it as "ordinary," in terms of dining. Also, I know that the characters we'll meet @ GG and CM will also be seen at TH.

My question- should I skip the last character meal in favor of something we haven't tried before- specifically Yak and Yeti? For those of you who have been, what are your thoughts on lunch there?

I'd do TH before CM.

Kiddos like CM, the fact that the monorail is whizzing by, the characters, etc. Plus CM works on our MVCP day.

Really focusing on whether to keep TH or try YY

Have you thought of TH for breakfast/brunch? My family LOVES the TH breakfast character meal. It is usually my husband's favorite meal of our trips. He especially likes the cinnamon rolls! And if you can get a before-park-opening early res, you can then go to Kilimanjaro Safaris with very little wait since it is so close by. Added bonus: My kids love to see the characters in their safari gear!

We had a bad experience at TT and had to complain so I would lean to Y&Y for something different. I am determined this year to try new places instead of repeating the same restaurants every year. Although some we could not possibly ditch!

Yak and Yeti is very good, has not disappointed us in the last 4 visits. Very good.
