I have been asked to go on a residential with the school, departing Saturday 26th Feb and getting back Tue March 1st. It is accompanying sixth form students for a Media-based trip to...............................................Disneyland Paris! We would be staying in the Cheyenne and have a full day at the Parks on Sunday and half a day on Monday. I like the kids and get on really well with the staff, so where is the dilemma? I have never been away from my kids for this long and I feel guilty for wanting to go. DH says go for it.:confused3

Help me to assuage my guilt.:rotfl:

Ok well I'll be person no 2 then:goodvibes I think this is a no brainer really, its only a couple of days, your DH has told you to go and is willing to take over while you are gone, you're honestly not that far away if you needed to get back, and sixth form students just about look after themselves as well, needless to say what a fab way to get a disney fix!
hope you do it, c'mon 3 more people:cheer2:

Right, I'm person no.3 who is going to say GO FOR IT !!!! If you feel guilty, then buy lots of presents (that's what I do :rotfl2:). Go and have some fun :)

GO - not often an opportunity like that comes along !!!!!

You lot are hilarious.:rotfl: One more person and I'm going!

I will have to nag the Head of Media to confirm all the details. The letter has been drafted and the trip's on the school calendar.

Oh you so need to go...and I know you have enough people now to convince you, but just thought I'd join in too :rotfl2:

GO, can't hurt to have a few more votes to help you make your decision!

So, let me get this straight...you really think I should go?:rotfl2:

Hmmm, I'm just not sure. Let's think about this for a moment....*thinks* Yes Joolz, you'll be on your way before you know it :goodvibes

I am sure you will have made your mind up by now but yes of course you should go. Just bring back pressies and that will ease the guilt :goodvibes

I've told the Head of Media to count me in.:rotfl2: I'll get over the guilt by buying presents as suggested. I didn't need much persuading, did I? ;)

And just in case you're having second thoughts I'm here to say

DON'T HESITATE, JUST GO FOR IT!! :yay:
