I was surprised to see at the Disney Store website this morning that both the Cinderella/Lady Tremaine dolls from last week and the Belle/Gaston dolls from this week were still available. I think last year the hero/villain series of dolls was sold out almost immediately when they were put on the website (or maybe even before since they were pre-selling at the stores). We tried to get the Hook/Pan set last year and couldn't. Do you think with their high price the last ones were bought mostly by people planning on secondary sales of them and that didn't happen- making the second set not as desirable? The dolls are really pretty, but the $130 price seems really high for basically a dressed up Barbie doll. I still would have thought the Belle/Gaston set would have sold out quickly. (I also saw they have a Belle/Beast limited edition of 500 set for $750- YIKES- I can see why that one isn't selling so fast!)

Actually the LE500 DOLLS sold out in the U.S. we only had 175 dolls here, the rest are for Europe.

I suspect, other than Belle/Gaston, that the others will remain online for a while.

Wow- that $750 was a crazy price, but I guess if there were only 175 that makes sense. It was still available yesterday when I posted. I just noticed those were the 17 inch dolls as opposed to the Barbie sized like the heros/villians set. I have to admit DD has the 17 inch designer Coronation Elsa and Snow Anna back from before Frozen oversaturation/aversion set in and they are gorgeous (she and her Grandma were in the Disney Store when the sign up sheet came out and her birthday was right around the release and Grandma is a pushover).

The dolls sold out around 12:35 a.m. Pacific Time. It took Disney Store until that afternoon to take the "add to bag" option out and finally say sold out, although even though you could click on "add to bag", you would get the "aw phooey, the item you have selected is sold out" right after you clicked and it wouldn't let you add it to the bag.

People clicked that "add to bag" hundreds of times and were still able to check out at 1:30 a.m. PT, 3 a.m. PT, and about 5 a.m. PT. But then, today, quite a few cancellation emails were sent (I follow dolls and other collectibles on various social media). Not a lot of people have said whether they were in the first, second, third, or fourth batch of sales, but there were a few reports of some people being in the 12:35 a.m. batch that got cancellation emails.
