Here's my daughters birthday shirt. Next Friday, she will be wearing it while we eat lunch at the castle! Now that's a birthday fit for a princess...

Many, many thanks to Julia & Nicks Mom for the wonderful design! princess:

How fun! That's a great design.
Besides pictures (which we really wanna see!!!) I, for one, would love to hear any comments or special treatment (hopefully!) that you get while wearing your homemade shirts at WDW.

OK, I'm out. Gonna go nap a while. :faint:

Great job, and your DD is beautiful! 3 questions, what type transfer paper did you use? Where did you buy your shirts? Is the shirt 100% cotton or combo?

I just bought transfer paper at Office Depot (it's office depot brand) - it says if you want it Matte- lift the paper 3-5 seconds after ironing, if you want Glossy then wait until it cools. I bought 100% Cotton shirts at Walmart. Of course, now my other two want a shirt to wear to disney, so I might be at this awhile! I've got three days until we leave ;)

It was scary to try, but it wasn't so bad. Personally, I would've liked a matte finish better, but she wanted it to be shiny.

Everyones designs and shirts are coming out amazing...
After I print all of these iron ons I am going to have too many shirts for my short vacation!

Thanks all!
Hugs
Laura

Well, I don't have any of these shirts (but I will very shortly!) but we did the Mickey tie-dye shirts last fall and got LOTS of attention with them. I'd post a pic but we just moved and have a new ISP that I can't figure out so can't host photos....but my avatar is of the middle of my shirt! :) Characters let us know how much they loved them, as well as lots of CM's and other visitors :)

And for everyone doing shirts, Wal-Mart has pretty decent 100% cotton shirts on sale for $3.84 each right now....in kid boy, kid girl, and mens departments! Didn't see any in womens so I got mens for me, too, but I was kinda in a hurry by then and might have missed them. I picked up several sets to do for us....PLUS, it's tax-free week right now (in FL, I know, and I think in GA, too) so I went ahead and stocked up :)

All of you are so amazing. Your very generous with your time and talent. I just wish there were more people in this world like DIS members. I can't thank you enough.

I had orginally planned to make a shirt or two for us to where on our trip. But, it looks like we'll be changing shirts one or two times per day. :rotfl2: I've already driven the DH crazy with the planning and now the shirts. :confused3 But, he has said there are all awesome.

Again, Thank you sooooooo much.

My DD's shirt (posted on page 1 of this LONG thread) didn't generate all that much attention, unfortunately. Then again, it wasn't as cool as the other designs on this thread! It said "Celebrating my 5th birthday with a few friends," but none of the CMs seemed to realize it was her birthday until she walked up and told them.

It was funny; telling the CMs it was her bday generated so much pixie dust that for weeks afterward, she would walk up to waitresses, hostesses, cashiers, etc and say, "It was my birthday a few days ago." I think she was surprised when no one gave her a pin, gave her a cupcake, or sang to her like they did at WDW!

I noticed it was shiny in the photo, but didn't know if it was just the picture. It looks great! Thanks for the tips. Have a great trip!

I borrowed this image (thanks) and changed it a little for my DD-16. Will put it on a black t-shirt.

How fantastic!!! Disers together all in the same shirts - they'll think you're all one party and be real confused when it turns out you only just met yet all wear the same shirts - you should make a sign saying
"designed by Julia and Nick's mom" to hold up in the photos :earboy2:

Guess What???!!!!!!!!! Just found out that Lollipop Mom is the other 4 for our Family Magic Tour!!!!!! :cool1: That's all 15 of us from the DIS!!! :disrocks: the tour CM will freak if we all show up in the same shirts. Maybe we should put our family names on them? What a picture that would be!

I went and looked at them (they look great!) - I will help you if I can. If you go to the gallery and right click on the image and click on "properties" you will see the address of your image. Right click and copy that address. On the message screen click on the "insert image" (its the one that looks yellow and like mountains) icon and when it pops up, paste that address into your message. Click ok, and it should appear. Of course, I always click on the "Preview Post" at the bottom of the message screen to see if looks right.

Does that help?
