We had two designs for one of our trips with three families. The first one is my favorite and got the most attention. We did these on orange shirts:

The second one we did on red shirts:

HOW DID YOU MADE THIS THE RED ONE?

WHAT SOFTWARE D U USED?

THANKS

okwoodsmith,
I made a couple of shirts using the first shirt with orange background that you posted and my question is,
what kind of transfers did you use? I used the kind for dark color shirts but my pics came out really dark, some you can't hardly tell what pic is.

I don't know what to tell you. I'm sure it has to do with your printer settings. You'll probably need to experiment with different settings. I used the dark fabric type and they came out beautifully. I was actually surprised that the photos actually looked like photos.

Good Luck,
Jim

okwoodsmith - 2 questions please:
(1) seriously, are you a professional graphics designer? these are incredible!

(2) did you get any special attention for wearing your shirts? like did you get to be the grand marshals for a parade or anything? you should've for that kind of effort! ;)

p.s. love your logos too - november to remember, fun, food, & no whining tour!

1) No I'm not. I'm a teacher (statistics) and part-time photographer. Graphics design, however, is a passion of mine. I spend way to much time in Photoshop and soak up whatever books or magazines I can on the topic.

2) We weren't asked to be in any of the parades...we had a group of 12 which is probably too large for such...but YES we got lots of attention...especially with the design with our photos. CMs were very attentive and gave our kids a lot of special moments.

The funny thing is, we went with a group in March of this year and they didn't want to do t-shirts. They didn't want the extra attention. So we rolled with it had a great time looking less like tourists. It is amazing to me, however, how much more fun a trip can be when adults are willing to act like kids.

That is exactly the way I feel! And what better place than Disney to let your inner child loose to enjoy all the magic there is to discover!

:rotfl: ...we had a group of 12 :rotfl:

Hey! I only count 11 in the pictures... who didn't get in?

I have to say I love all the shirts. I love love love the picture shirt, wish I was that talented ( and my group was good enough to play along :rotfl: )

MMPC123--

There's always someone who doesn't want their picture taken. In this case it was a grandmother. She still wore the shirt but no picture on the front. You'd worry about someone who teaches stats but can't count huh?

I took a picture of her and then erased all the background (in paint) and then pasted it into word - I then found clipart of each princess at this site http://www.geocities.com/disneyclipart/ and they are great - there is no background so you can overlap easily with it -

If this doesn't make sense - I would be more than happy to help you make it - just pm me

Julia & Nick's mom - VERY impressive! & CUTE!

p.s. - I love your daughter's name - Julia. That's my mother's name and if I had another girl, I would name her that too - very pretty IMO. ;) :flower:

How much would you charge to make me 4 shirts with the american family vacation on them? I am just amazed by them! I think you have found a way to make more money to go to disney world! :sunny:

Ok, here are the shirts we made. I followed the instructions posted at the beginning of this post. The shirts we made for ourselves(DH and I) shrunk up alot so we couldnt wear them. Next time we will get shirts that are at least 2 sizes too big.

Our DDs shirt didnt turn our as good as this one. We dipped the tip in the dye and it was too much saturation, it bled through the stitching. This one we used a squirt bottle and it was perfect.

Im sorry this is so big, thats why I didnt post our DDs also. I can tfigure out how to resize it.

We're going in August and I need help with a cute phrase. Right now I have an Adventure in August, but that's not really doing much for me. Any suggestions.
