Hello -- anyone there? We are in the CST, and still have 50 minutes to go and no snow -- it was almost 80 degrees today! Ugh -- wishing for cooler weather and some rain -- we are in drought here and they aren't allowing fireworks.

Well I waited until the last minute to go buy my blackeyed peas. Would you believe that Wal-Mart had no blackeyed peas. Not frozen, canned, or dried. So after spending an hour in Wal-Mart shopping I still had to go by the grocery store and get those blasted blackeyed peas. I guess you could say I am a true Southern Girl - Got to have those blackeyed peas on New Years Day come H*ll or high water.

so my parents agreed to take the kids for the day and Steve and I decided to spend our anniversary in the most logical place in the world - our bedroom!!

and this is what we spent our day doing: we had intended to paint the wall a green but I thought the mocha color seemed much richer and I am so happy with that decision!!!

That was my guess! The pictures look great, good choices!

Deb -- Thank you so much for the loan of the Bear costume. People can't believe it when I tell them where I got the costume. It's hard for them to fathom the generosity of someone that I've never actually "met." I tell them that their definition of friends and people who have "met" are really off base!

I haven't posted pictures because my husband didn't get any good ones. He's going to have to go in and edit them to make them easier to see our DS. He should have time tomorrow, then I'll post the pics.

we still have to hang the second curtain (need to put the rods back up) and I need to buy sheers to put behind them

my parents bought us the comforter for Christmas

the wall extends into our bathroom and we got a new shower curtain and towels

poor little Julia came home and told us she thought we were going to frame her artwork and couldn't believe we painted over it

Very nice. I must say that wasn't what I expected when you said you spent the day in the bedroom . I bet it feels good to have that much done.

Deb - i am Dising in bed and had to share that post with DH - I was afraid when he tok the computer he was going to give some smart a** answer but he didn't - that's why I love him!!!!

we went to ruby tuesdays tonight and in honor of my FINAL meal - I got all my favorites - which included a mudslide - as I ordered it - I could here you groaning!!! I know it must be a pain to make

But I am ready to go tomorrow - I don't really want to - but since you all are going to ask me how it is going - I better!!!


Lisa - I love that pin - were you able to get on in WDW or did you see it online?
