I am going on a very unexpected trip to Disney in 17 days I have a very good mil story to tell My mil, her dh, bil & family have been planning a trip to Disney in Jan. I received a call today asking if I would like to go because mil's dh has decided not to go. Everything is paid for except my food! I am so excited Dh & the boys will stay home, so I will have a chance to view Disney in a different way. I will miss my boys not being with me, but I will get over it Dh is not a big Disney fan(I am working on him)but he knows I love Disney & he is very happy for me. I will also get to the chance to stay at different resorts, 3 nights at the Contemporary, 3 nights at the Boardwalk Villas, & 1 night at AKL. I am about ready to burst! I have only stayed at value resorts, so this is really a treat. Well the whole trip is, I think I am still in shock. I just had to share this with you all, oh I need to get planning! Look out Disney here I come.............

Actually I never watched him on GH...just happen to know he got his start on that show. I sort of know a lot of useless trivia about celebrities. I used to buy every issue of Bop, Tiger Beat, Teen Beat, etc. Now, I read the more sophisticated Entertainment Weekly.

We were in bed by 11:30 p.m., hopeful for some good sleep since for the last few years our kids haven't awakened before 8:00. Not so this year. At 5:00 all 4 were awake and clamoring for us to get up. We were able to stall them for an hour and a half by telling them that Santa could still come back and take all the presents away if they woke us up again. At 6:30, however, they had waited long enough.

When I was a little girl, Santa left our stockings on our doorknobs or on our bedposts. We were allowed to get up and open the stocking gifts (and some of the BEST gifts were found in there!) but not allowed to waken our parents until it was light out. There was always something good to eat in those stockings too, like oranges and shortbreads. Santa sure was smart!
