Yes, you are the only one paying attention. I was sitting here wondering what the heck you were talking about! How funny! Hope I didn't steal it from anyone. I had no idea this time!

Yeah -- I was trying for it! Heck, I was going to head to bed but I thought, hey, maybe I have a chance.... but NOOOOOOOO ... little miss "I didn't even know it was post 17000" Sure, just crush a kid why dontcha??

We do that too. The kids get to wear their pajamas. They get a kick out of that. We take hot chocolate in a thermos and play Christmas CDs. It's fun.

What do you do if your house is the one that everyone drives their kids by?


I get that all the time. We brought the kids by your house last night to see the lights or oh your house is the one we see from the interstate.

I don't know. I honestly didn't notice until Skunka kept hinting, and I was still clueless (ok, Paul, that's your clue to pounce!

Remember a few weeks back we were talking about family members that are lets just say a little touched in the head? My SIL (no dear there) lies so much about very serious things that she has been disowned by everyone in the family. Anyway, my MIL gets a call one day telling her that SIL had died. Turns out SIL had someone make the call just to see how MIL would react. MIL made a couple of calls and was easily able to verify that she was alive, but isn't that just sick? Who knows why some people act so.

That is so wrong on so many levels!!

1 - how could you be that sick

2 - how the heck did she find someone willing to make the call?!?!

3 - how sad that people know how pathetic you are that they didn't even believe it!!

I have to go to a baby shower tomorrow for my DH's cousin

she is 18 and has narrowed the father down to one of 3

I am taking Julia with me - I am hoping she doesn't ask a lot of questions

altought last time we saw her - she did ask her about her nose ring - and Jen looked at me in a panic - like how do I answer that - and I said - get used to it - you are going to have to explain a lot of this to your kid - you need the practice -

she was relieved when I let her off the hook by telling Julia it was a sticker

Deb, Hows your Dad?

He was feeling a bit better today. He said the vertigo was a little better and the soreness and stiffness is starting to pass. He even walked downstairs and started a woodfire today. I think it will take a while to recover and I pray he makes a full recovery. He seemed more upbeat which is a big step.
