Don't put your address or regular phone number on luggage tag. That just let's the thieves know which house is unattended while you are gone.

Put your name, cell # and the hotel where you are going to.

Never thought of that..... I thinks ours has DH's business card. Thanks Now I know not to put our address.

Oh Kate, those are terrific! I don't know how to thank you enough. Go ahead and email them to me. Are they 8 1/2 x 11?

I can't wait until Sunday when the kids get these!!

Your kids will be so suprised and happy. I wish we could see their faces when they open them. Please post pics.

That brings up something I remembered when I worked in Manhattan... you should never put your home address on your luggage tag. Before you jump on me - put your address on the tag, but turn the address over and print in very large letters:

INFO ON REVERSE SIDE. TURN OVER IF NECESSARY.

This prevents somebody from casually looking over your shoulder at the airport, and reading your address and knowing that you aren't there. It still allows airport personnel to get to the information if necessary, but it would require taking the information out and then flipping it over. As much as I hate it, in the world we live in you have to be careful.

Can someone let me know what page the Stitch eating snowflakes is on.
I saved the picture wrong.

I use a business card in my luggage tag holder. I has my name and a phone number and local address where someone could be reached who would know how to get in touch with me.

I have a question for those of you who live in Cincinnati, we are coming there this weekend, did you guys get a lot of snow and how is the weather there now?

We do that too. The kids get to wear their pajamas. They get a kick out of that. We take hot chocolate in a thermos and play Christmas CDs. It's fun.

What a cute idea!!! I think we may do that next weekend - that sounds so fun!!! :goodvibes

I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

pg 1117

Congratulations!!! This is great news!

My best advise is to rest alot. Not to carry anything heavier than a sack of potatoes and put your feet up every chance you get.

We need a pregnant belly smilie!!! :lovestruc

For everyone keeping up with my husband's job search -- today is the final round of interviews for the job he has been hoping for. He has four separate meetings with people from that company today. I would be so grateful for more pixie dust his way. (Also that he doesn't get in trouble from his current job for taking time off the day after we had an ice day!) This would be the best Christmas gift for me if he could get a job he enjoys!

Tons of :wizard: :wizard: coming your way!!

Hey there DDAs!

Angela -- congratulations! keep us posted :grouphug:

Denise -- hope you and Rees feel better quickly!!

Ok, I'm going to do something I HATE to do, but I'm desperate :goodvibes
Can someone either answer on here or PM me with answers to a few questions that I KNOW we've answered. I even saved post #s, etc on the desktop, but that doesn't help me here. Now I'm starting to freak out, because we come home Saturday, I have this "Disney Dinner" planned where my sister finds out we're flying (her first time), etc. Well, I have it SCHEDULED. I hardly have anything planned. Then I cram on Sunday for finals, and take them Monday. So Monday at about 4, I can start the whole t-shirt process (all the way from deciding designs to buying shirts to printing and ironing :earseek: ). Plus I need to pack, update my itinerary, wrap Christmas gifts, figure out what to do with my dog (dog-sitter fell through)....

SO :)

What paper is ok if I run out of ebay stuff? I am convinced that it's the best, but what else will do?

My pizza stone is in storage. There goes my brilliant idea there....
What else can I iron on? We have no formica, no flat top stove... I suppose I have plenty of textbooks...?

Thanks so much. I promise I'll try not to ask the same questions we've covered over and over again once I'm more sane! :rotfl:

Have a good day!
pg 1119

Hi Jen,

We used the Avery. I have washed my shirts many times and the transfers are fine. I really belive my DGS is going to wear out his Playhouse Disney onesie before the transfer cracks. I made him two. He wears one everyday and his mother drops the other one in the wash. I am going to make him 4 more. :cloud9:

So, I have not been over to the DIS Community Photo gallery in a while as I have been using my photobucket account more frequently. I decided to take a peek over there today and imagine my surprise when I saw the wdwinfo photo/video page: http://www.wdwinfo.com/pictures.htm Yep, that is our little one and only with Belle at Disneyland. How cool!

Very cool. She is so cute. She looks happy with Belle.

Julia...Colby says that you are pretty. He is sitting on my lap looking at the pictures in the post. When he saw the one of Julia in the cape he said "she pretty".

Well, I went to AC Moore and got something like 24 shirts. I will be having a t-shirt making party this weekend, but I think I will be the only one at it.

I also stopped at Home Depot and got lime green Mickey heads. I am going to laminate them and use them as luggage/backpack/fannypack tags. Then I got to thinking.....how do you attach them? Any suggestions?

Tammi,

Don't know if you used magical express, but I trimmed the heads a little and put them on the flip side of the tags that we got with our magical express and put it on our purse or backpack or whatever we were using for that day in the park
