Problem is I don't have a wood cutting board! Damn bacteria police! I have a heavy plastic cutting board. I don't think ironing on it would be the best idea.

I was thinking I could do one side then after letting it cool, do the other side. Using the tray table, I can allow the shirt to hang off ... and not get re-heated.

I think I am just going to have to TRY one. Still open to ideas ,.. thoughts .. warnings ....

I did a two-sided shirt a couple of weeks ago. I ironed the first transfer on one side, let it cool, pulled the backing off, etc. (it was a light transfer). I ironed the first transfer where I did the others, on my flat-top stove. Then, I used a large wood cutting board for the other side. Slip the cutting board (or anything flat and heat resistant) inside the shirt, leaving the second side you want to iron on exposed, if that makes sense. Worked great, and I just made sure that the transfer that I had already done was laying flat so it woudln't get wrinkled.

Oh I HATE Potomac Mills. Crowds, crowds, crowds. To me, it seems trashy, and I don't really think there are any great bargains there. And did I mention the crowds? But if you really want to go there.....

Anyway, I work in Alexandria, not the city proper, but on the outskirts, so I am quite familiar with that area. I can make some phone calls and inquire about rates and how many rooms are needed for a discount, and what that discount would be. Heck, I may take a mini vacation myself, even though it is only 50 miles from home. If you have specifics that you want me to look into, just let me know. I guess we should find out what everyone who would be going would want to do, be it touring DC, monuments, museums, ect., or shopping, or hanging, or whatever. Let me know what I can do on my end.

How long has it been since you lived here? I'm sure you will not even recognize the area, it is being built up so much.

I wish it was coming to Austin or even San Antonio when I found out that it was in Houston I had to work. i would have loved to take DD.

Today I was home suffering AGAIN from back pain. Just happened to click on the Travel channel and watched some Disney shows. I had remembered watching the Fan Guide before but I cannot believe how I was laughing or crying so hard during the program this time while I watched it.
Just hearing the Wishes song did me in.

I use a wood cutting board on my ironing board and insert it into the shirt and let the other side hang down. Works great.

Stitch idea:
Last year, before our tree was decorated Stitch attacked our christmas tree. I have pictures somewhere, not sure where though. But our tree had two stuffed stitches, christmas lights and some toilet paper. Also I have pictures of my cat covered in lights a christmas hat and stuffed stitch sitting behind her.

The toilet paper tree was prompted by Stitch toilet papering Cinderella's castle for the opening of Stitch's Great Escape. Although it could have used more tp. When I find the pictures I will post them. If you want you may use one.

Is PayaPal safe?

Paypal is very safe. I have used this almost since it 1st started & have had no problems. If you open a personal account you will only be able to accept payments from someone that has money in their account or echecks. If you have a premier account you can accept credit card & debit card payments.

Do you have a totally seperate checking account that your Payapal account is linked to?

When you sign up for Paypal you have to enter your bank account info & then they will verify this. I only have one account & this is linked with Paypal. I have a Paypal debit card now, but before when I would receive payments I would have Paypal deposit the money into my checking account.

What about checks and money orders? Are they safe?

I do not accept checks, money orders I have never had a problem with.

How much does Ebay charge you for an item being sold on there?

I have mine set upwhere Ebay takes it out of my checking account.

How do you know how much to charge for shipping?

I charge actual shipping. Once the auction closes I get the winning bidders zip code & then weigh it. I use the USPS calculator to figure cost.

Do those shipping calculators some people have on their for sale items,cost extra?

I have never used them, but I do belive they are free.

Okay I also used a book in the sleeves when I did them. So do you have a big book to use like you would use a cutting board?

Anyway I need some help,from those who sell on Ebay.I really need to start selling stuff (I've purchased things before ) on there but I'm worried and a bit perplexed on HOW to get started SELLING.

I'm worried about the whole payment thing.I don't want to get scammed or s*crewed out of money.

bear74...Erich was 7 mths old the first time...well the first time he was actually there I was 6 mths pregnant! I remember him kicking the heck out of me during the Spectro Magic Parade.I think he was dancing!!

Anyway when he was 7 mths he LOVED the characters.The first time he met Mickey was in China and some how Mickey could make his nose move,Erich kept reaching for it.The next time we went back he was 15 mths old.The first day there we went to MVMCP.During the parade...it's the Toyland part of the Christmas parade...these 2... of all things...giant Teddy BEARS came up to him, and scared the absolute heck out of him!! For the next 2 years (we go twice a year) he REFUSED to have anything to do with ANY costumed character.He did pose with Jasmine when he was about 3.I was devastated ...I thought he'd never see Mickey or Goofy again.
But when he was 4 he fell in love with them again,he was shy at first but got over it quicklyTG!!!
