Congratulations to all! We knew you were hiding something from us! :)

I know...I didn't really deny anything did I?

I took a positive test on 11/2, but we got to hear the baby's heartbeat today which made it REAL (and easier to share :goodvibes ).

Estimated due date is July 14th.

Now I can whine to you all about how nauseous I've been...and tired! :rotfl:

Thanks for all your congratulations!!!
Amy :)

Hey, I'm a bad liar! :rotfl: Plus, I thought it would be bad luck to deny that I was pregnant, but I figured I could be a little evasive and make you wonder... :teeth:

We didn't even tell my mother-in-law until today, so you are right up there, don't worry! :flower:

I just finished making two batches of pecan brittle and it is sooo good. I am making some to give as gifts. It takes like 10 minutes in the microwave. I love the easy stuff. :rotfl:

Please, please post that recipe. I love easy, simple and delicious.

Silly! My best friend's second grader wants the baby to share his birthday...July 4th. And so the date squabbling begins! :rotfl:

I was really hoping Alyssa would arrive on 04/04/04, but she thought April 3rd was a better day. :flower:

:rotfl: My Dil is the best and also a little ahead of the game
She had her christmas cards out so we received them November 1st. :faint:
Then she went shopping and managed to find such good deals on presents for my grandson so I just picked some from the bunch. ::yes::

So last Friday I thought I would pull a fast one on her and find out what she wanted for Christmas. I showed her the site Gift Bag Boutique and proceeded to show her what I wanted to get my DD for a gift. What I really did was find out exactly what she wanted. Then I showed my DD the same sight tonight and showed her the gift and asked her what she thought Dil would like. Of course DD realized what I was doing and picked a second choice for her self so i could choose between the two. The site is really neat and you can also click over to pajama gram and pick from lots of PJs
Three minutes later and gifts for the girls are done for :flower: Got a few clues for a few add ons and I am now done with everyone :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Even took advantage of using a Friends and Family from Gap and saved grunches on shirts for DH Tools are always a good choice for DS and Dsil so Home Depot is one of my best friends.

So, with what Steffy and I got on our trip to Cape May, I am so done.

Now just to mail presents to tinker1bell's sister (my sister)

Now, do I want to continue watching the Eagles and hope they pull it out of their a**es and hopefully win :rotfl: :rolleyes1 or watch something mindless on another channel??

I'm 8 pages behind, so I need to go back and read. I need a little pixie dust tonight. My Dad drives a dump truck and was hit by a freight train earlier today. The details are sketchy, it appears that the train only hit the last foot of the truck. It is a blind intersection. He has absolutely no recollection of the accident. He remembers eating lunch then he remembers being in the ambulance. We don't think he lost consciousness as someone helped him get out of the truck which was rolled over on the drivers side. He apparently stood there looking at the truck and talking to 3 guys until the ambulance got there, but he doesn't remember any of it. They still have him in a neck brace as radiology hasn't cleared his neck yet and that is where he is having a lot of pain. He also has a small brain bleed. They said that it is the smallest you can have that would show up. They are keeping him overnight and will do another CAT scan in the morning. It appears he was very lucky. Hopefully tonight will go well. Best case scenerio he has severe whiplash. The freight train was 25 cars long and they were loaded with road salt. Dad was driving a 10 wheeler which was fully loaded with sand. The impact flipped the truck. It is probably a good thing that he can't remember. This happened sometime between 12:30 and 1 this afternoon. I got a call around 2 and have been at the hospital since. He is in good spirits now (I think the morphine helps) and has been talking and even laughing during the evening. The owner of the truck came in and they were cracking jokes for the whole visit. Hopefully the bleed won't get worse and all will be ok. We spent from 3 PM - 8 PM in the emergency room then he was moved to a room. I will go back up in the morning to check on him.

I think that I need to write a song about this: "Grandpa Got Runover By a Freight Train" I'm sure that he would think that it was funny if the kids sang it to him. :rotfl:

I have to keep a positive outlook. Thanks for listening.

Deb
