Good mornng everyone!

After all that work last night that computer is still not working???? WHy............ the nerve of that thing!!!! I'm sending emergency pixiew dust in hopes that your visit to the store this morning will pan out for you!

Glynis- thanks for the update. I was wondering if you were having cravings or not and if they would over power you or not? That is one of the biggest concerns I have. I can't believe you are eating regualr foods and not having any problems. Both my DS and DB that have had this surgery have had to go back in and have some kind of stretching procedure done because they were unable to hold any food down at all. I just had my colonoscopy last Monday- luckily everything truned out just fine! Haven't called the Dr. yet about the procedure- I just haven't had time, but I plan to after Christmas is over.

I'm not done decorating the house yet! I just don't hvae the time/will it takes anymore! I'm hoping to finalize all the kitchen/family room today and to to the fireplaces (3 mantles) today. Then I have the railings to do. That is really gonna take some time- I disassembled the garland last year because it was looking really shabby and I need to TOTALLY rebuild it now. I'm also going to finish my Christmas shopping today! I need to get all this done by this Saturday because it's just not worth the effort to have it up for any less time than that AND my mom is coming for a visit and I want it to be beautiful when she comes. Any extra pixie dust you got would be apprecited- please send it my way!! I think I'm gonna have to somehow cut back on all this decrating next year.

Where's the picture of the real reason you are painting the wall behind your bed?!!

yes - Julia took a black crayon to our wall one night - she actually was very methodical in what she did and is very proud of it - she can describe what she drew in perfect detail!!

She got in a lot of trouble but we have to admit - she did a nice job - it is centered on the headboard and if I took paint and painted in the lines I might have a pretty nice wall

Thanks Deb! I really need it! I did get showered and all cleaned up, got the kitchen and family cleaned up- and now I have to leave to go get DD at the airport. After that it's time to shop at the NIKE employee store and then I'll get the mantles done.

Kate- I hope you took pics of her art work and have desinged an appropriate page for her scrapbook!

for Christmas I am getting a new bedspread and painting my bedroom (just one wall) - I think we have decided to go with this one

Julia is just trying to be like Harold, from the book Harold and the purple crayon. Walt Disney once did something similar although it was to the entire side of his parents house or barn and he had to repaint over it with white paint. Walt also drew on his bed sheets, can you imagine how much they would be worth today if his parents didn't throw them away.

DH insisted I was not making built ins for our study...

this was my summer project (of course before I found the DDA!!)

Is it on the wall??? Or a fabric headboard? Did you try a Mr Clean magic eraser to get it off? (Of course, that may kill the excuse for a new bedroom set!)
