Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! I am off to shop!!!

I did my BF shopping online!- Of course, it's 3:30 am here- so I don't know hat benefit it was, except I don't have to stand in line!! I'll go later on tonight when the crowds have died down and do some more shopping, but for now, I've got the electronic things I really wanted!

I sure have missed ya'll. We left Atlanta on Tuesday @ 7pm and didn't make it to Grand Haven, MI until Wednesday 10:30am.....YES.....we drove the entire way. My DH and I took turns and it wasn't that bad. We hit snow around 6am in Indianapolis so that really slowed the drive down. My DS's are really, really, really......did I say really.....love the snow. We are going to a park today to go sledding. We never get this much snow in Atlanta.....probably the last 3 years wouldn't add up to this much. We head home on Saturday evening around 6pm and hopefully home by 10am on Sunday morning so we can relax before the daily routine starts back.

I am about 15 pages behind but just wanted ya'll to know that I was missing ya'll.

Ugh... that sounds fantastic if it were possible. Actually, my poor mother is hosting tonight afterall -- to some extent. We are using the clubhouse at my old apartment complex and all those people are still coming (many of which weren't really supposed to come), and I still don't want to deal with them, but now DH is really sick (vomiting, etc) so I'm helping her set up, saying hello and then coming home to take care of him. Hope everyon'es black friday shopping went well....we had a great one until the throwing up all morning.... then it was obviously cut short. We got a few good deals though, and some awesome suits for DH's interviews. Not too bad.

I'll hopefully share (and hear your BF stories) later..... it's gonna be a long one. Kate, I may come looking for a margarita later

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I just finished reviewing my BF flyers and am going to bed.

I had good new, got a PM from Chereya, I won her Thanksgiving raffle. I chose the lavender color, just like the pictures!

I can't wait for them to come!

Sorry about your predicament tomorrow. Hope everyone is sharing in the food prep. Go have your margarita lunch with Kate and enjoy!

Ahh, now LUNCH would have been a good idea, had I seen this! Kate - were you at tri-county today? We probably could have met there with no trouble at all if we were right downstairs or something....

Hello all. I spent almost three hours at work today. It is amazing how much one can get done when no one else is at work. But it took me about 30 minutes to post 10 charges to parents accounts. The charge card lines must have been smoking all day!!!
Suddenly my cell phone rings and it is the day spa telling me they would have to cancel my appointment I asked if there was anyone else they could get in to keep the appointment. I had waited a long time for this day to be pampered. She called me back and said come on in cause she got someone else who could come in. I replied "are you sure?" and she reassured me it was ok and to come in. So I finished my work.

I then went for my much anticipated day at the spa. It had soft lights and lots of candles lit and soft music playing in the background. I change into my robe and (big) one size fits all slippers. First the half hour massage. I asked her to just concentrate on the back because that is where I needed the most attention. Then I had a Mini facial, pedicure and manicure. They call this the teaser. All in the time of two and a half hours. She even served me a snack of fruit and crackers.
I just melted into my car seat and drove home. This is the way to spend the day after Thanksgiving.
Here is hoping that everyone who went out shopping found all the bargins and everything on their list today. And that the crowds and lines were not too long.

Oh a meet with spa treatments involved sounds like heaven.
I had to work today-you know sick people just don't seem to get the idea that they need not to be sick the day after a holiday. But, even if I hadn't I wouldn't have been doing the Black Friday shopping. You people are very brave. I get scared to death even thinking about those crowds.

I have to thank my DD and DIL because they gave me a gift certificate last Christmas and I added a few extra dollars to get the teaser.
I would give anything to spend the whole day at any spa That is my next mission next time we go to DW

Okay here is My BF report.
Wore the shirt Dennise made us got a few coments on it.
Circuit city got there at 0345 and their were about 100 people in front of me. They started handing out vouchers for the laptops and a couple of people at the front started fighting over them. 6 cops eventually showed up not all at once though. Any way I got the portable DVD player and the conderella DVD. now to take back the first one i bought DD for christmas when it forst came out.
Next comes Walmart.

Went their for the Disney Dress up outfits the only one that was on sale was a boxed cinderella with dress, wand tiarra and shoes. we have this ine already except for the shoes so did not buy. Bought instead the Leap pad plus writing for 25 for DD next birthday I now it says for ages 4-8 but I think she will enjo toe reading ones. she will be 3 got a couple of books at 6.88 and got my brother a couple of toys for his Boys.
Next Target.

got all 3 Harry Potter DVD's for 5.88 a piece. got the down alternative comforter for 25. disney princess flannel sheets for DD bed. A new tree with light already on for 29.88 it was so easy to put up.
Then to Toys R US for a couple of toys my brother wanted for his kids. while wainting in line to check out i was standing next to the girls PJ's and their was a JOJO night gown. bought it showed DD she says wow mommy JOJO princess.

Ok, I'm up and almost ready to leave. I hear that Best Buy is going to have quite a line so I want to be toward the front. I should be in line no later than 2:45 AM. Glad to see that most had a nice thankgiving and sending to those who are still working through Thanksgiving. I hope we are all sucessful in our BF Quests.

I did think it was amusing that 10 minutes after I signed off to go to bed, you signed on that you were up and almost ready to leave . I bet you are tired tonight.

Jennifer - I am glad that your mom was able to help out today, but sorry that DH is sick. Take good care of him, but don't get too close, you don't want to come down with it too!

Terry - I am also jealous. I am up for a spa day at WDW. I have heard the spa at SSR is really amazing also.

Bengalbelle - I am sorry you were so sick and hope you are feeling better. Did they save leftovers for you?

Jennifer(Texas) - glad you were successful with your BF shopping. I went to our Wal-Mart also and they only had the Cinderella dress-up set. I did see some others at our Shopko, but didn't check the prices.
