OK ..... I'm off to bed and ..sniff sniff sniff ... won't be on tomorrow until later. Got to go to training to be a Cub Scout leader.

These are the same people that crammed 20 minutes of information into 2 1/2 hours! :sartcasm: ugh

now I am confused. I got 8.5 x 11, is that ok for me? size med shirt ?

I'm sure it will be fine - just lay the paper onthe shirt itself .. and you will see the area it covers.

Kate,

Those are adorable!

Well, I finished my last three tie-dye shirts and I am now going to bed. We have a soccer tournament in the a.m.

Sorry about your CubScout training. My DH runs those here and he plays to a packed house! Just remember, it's for the kids!

Well I am still at work... 13 hours now.. and I am sooooooo sleepy! I gotta come back at 10pm today ... the things we do for disney trips!

disneyeveryyear could you pm me the design you did for the front - my DS(6) loves crush and I've got a T-shirt waiting for a picture to go in his stocking

Glynis
can I count on you all to help me through the planning process?
You are talking to the planmeisters!! I LOVE bossing poeple about their Disney vacations....er... .... coming up with suggestions for a wonderful trip :guilty: :rotfl:

Suggest you avoid the dining plan though if you don't want to undo all your good work - seems from people's reports they give you more than you could possible need

Sorry - not ready to plan yet :guilty: :grouphug:

Ok, I need a title for the boy's shirts!

OK, All! I need help with a saying for the bottom of these shirts? I'm off to work, and will check in this afternoon.

And I love my Pooh MVMCP shirts!

Those are AWESOME !!!!

Kate - didn't you read before that I have too many MVMCP designs already?! You all are killing me with your adorable new Christmas designs!! I'm just going to have to go for the next few years I suppose... :rolleyes1

Glynis - sounds like you made the right decision for you and your family! I'm so sorry your mom had to go through all of that, but I am very glad you have another option! Your kids will be so blessed for it.... You can do it! :cheer2:

Paul - feel better!

If I can get DH out of bed (a harder task than it seems.... this rotation is the first that he has had weekends off in MONTHS!) we have to go find a storage unit. Anyone good at guessing spatial things? How the heck am I supposed to look at a gaping, empty garage and see if my life will fit in it?! :confused3

Here's hoping it's quick.... we want to go to the Miami game (in my DDA-created shirt)! :cheer2: Should be studying though....... :rolleyes1

:) Don't let me stay on here too much today, I REALLY can't afford to! Have a great Saturday, everyone!

I finally made my first shirt. The Incredible I on a red shirt - it turned out great. I am really hooked now. I don't know how to post a picture, but could e-mail it to someone.
My question is
Do I need to wash the shirt after putting on the transfer?
Does washing it help it set?
I was kind of hoping I wouldn't need to wash the shirts again, since I pre-washed them.
4 days until we leave and 7 shirts to make

Turns out the whole 3 hours DH spent with the kids tonight (not alone with them - I was there too) just wore him out and he decided he wanted to go to sleep and not watch the movie - I wasn't quite ready for bed yet and would rather design than watch the movice alone
Dhs are funny, aren't they. Usually my DH works a late shift 2 weeks out of the month, so I get home from work, make dinner, clean up, shuttle the kids to whatever activities they have, do baths, books and bed, all while he is at work. Well, for the past month I have been put on a special assignment where I am working late, so now my DH has to do all that. After a week and a half he says to me "I don't know how single parents do it." HELLO! What does he think my life is like when he is at work?! Cracks me up.

Paul - feel better soon. I'm sure Marti will take as good of care of you as you did of her. I hear people blaming sinus infections on the change of weather. I don't where what is like where you are but here it has been in the 50's one week and the 70's the next. Our bodies can't keep up with the drastic changes in temps. Now Nurse Denise will prob. come along a refute this old wives tale. :)

I love all the new designs that have been posted. Great work everyone.

OK all my fellow DDAs -- now is the time to get out the pixie dust. DH (Paul) finally went to the doctor today and now has a sinus infection. I don't know where he could have gotten that :rolleyes1 He's in bed now, rarely gets sick, and I KNOW he got sick because he was taking such good care of me. Could we all send a little PD his way? Send him a PM if you feel like cheering him up.

Thanks guys.
Marti

Please, tell your DH I feel his pain! I've had the same thing and am now celebrating week 2 with it! Just tell him NOT to complain about stabbing pains in his eyes on this thread.... 'cos he'll get some really strange pics posted if he does! :earseek: I'd send pixiedust, but mine is probably infected.... so I'll just send best wishes for now! ;)

Just wanted to post a pic of the nine of us in our Halloween costumes. We went as Disney pirates.

We had a blast at the party and got tons of attention in these vests. We must have had at least 100 people stop and compliment us! We also got special pictures taken and had a lot of fun dancing with the singing pirates by POC. The individual pics are cool too but I don't have those available yet.

My MIL had the striped shirt and made a red Smee hat and wore her reading glasses. Smee fussed over her everytime he saw her!

Don't wash the shirt again... there really is no need and you don't want anything to happen to it in the washer. After your trip when its time to wash them, do so inside out with no bleach or fabric softner. Otherwise I think it lifts the transfer off the shirt.

Have a great time -- so wish it was us going again! I still have the post Disney blues!
