I HAVE NO FORMICA!!!! And I have to do the shirts today!!! (We leave tomorrow!!) HELP!!

Can anyone suggest something else to place the shirt on to iron it? I have wood floors... could I layer a couple of pieces of cardboard on them? I have some sections of peel and still tile... would that work???? All my countertops are granite and I wont use them.... I have some tiled floors, but I am worried about them cracking with the heat!

HELP I need ironing tips!!!!

what about in your bathroom? any formica there?

do you have a basement - with a concrete floor? or what about in the garage? - just put a pillowcase under it -what is your kitchen table like?

those are my thoughts - maybe someone else would have a better idea

Thank you, I am getting very excited! This is my 1st trip alone with the boys, it should be an adventure I will take plenty of pics & I am taking my laptop, so hopefully I will have time to post while we are there.

Have fun! How old are your boys? I would love to take the kids to WDW for spring break, but it would be by myself. They are such good kids, mind me, listen. I know we'd probably be ok, but I'm just wondering what age would be the best for a solo mom and kids trip? They'd be 5.5 when we'd go in April.

I might have a wooden cutting board large enough... hmmmm Why wont an ironing board work?? DOes it trap the heat or release the heat?? I guess If I understood why.... (wierd brain... sorry)

I just looked up chip costumes on ebay and they are going for over $50 there is one for over $200 - nobody bid on it though!!!
so - I guess if you guys pay me enough for pictures of me in the Mrs. Potts costume - I could get Nick the Chip costume!!!

uh - anyone have any ideas on how to make one?

I haven't seen the chip costume, but I would think that you could use hula hoops to make the frame and use a lightweight fabric for the "cup". I'm sure that he would also be cute as cogsworth or lumiere (or maybe hubby). How about Nick as the prince. That could be made with light weigt fabrics.
