Disney decorating!

Don't really know if you would call it "Disney Decorating," but I have Disney "stuff" all over my house and office.

In my living room is a display case with many of the Disney porcelain figurines, especially many of the very limited pieces.

On most of my walls I have pics of Disney related things. For example, just in my office, sitting at my desk, I took these (on the left of the desk, the top of my computer desk, and the right of the desk.) This is just some of the stuff that is all throughout my place! Disney clutter at its best!

I should also mention that I have ALL my Disney vacation pictures on my computer and go through them on my screen saver/wallpaper program. If I'm in the mood to relive a Disney Cruise, voila. Wanna see St. Maarten or St. Thomas, voila. Wanna go to the Magic Kingdom, I'm there.

It really makes the time pass quickly between vacations!

I was relaxing and decided to scan the booklet to my computer for future reference. It is the one place I tend to not lose things . So then I thought I would upload the booklet for you and whoever else wanted to see it. If anyone wants to see the princess one or the buzz one lmk. And I will scan and upload them as well.

We built a 7 bedroom home in Kissimmee right near Disney and the whole house is Disney themed! The 4 kids bedrooms, are Nemo, Buzz and woody, Princess, and Tinkerbell. I had so much fun decorating it!

I'm re-doing my entire basement (which is already finished). In the family room, I have Mickey/Minnie border in rust/denim/tan. On the Entertainment Center, I have 8 water globes from WDW and The Disney Store. I have Disney picture frames with some 5x7's of our Disney trips. On the gameroom side, I have a bookshelf full of photo albums and other Disney statues, etc. The books have Disney bookends (Mickey's hands). I also have my downstairs bathroom decorated in Tinkerbell. Upstairs my hallway is FULL of different photos from Disney. In my dining room I have Jim Shore Disney stuff: Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella's carriage with the horse and Lucifer. In my China hutch, I have Pinnochio, Jiminy Cricket, Figaro on one shelf, Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Wicked Queen/Hag on another shelf.

My office at work is FULL of Disney stuff: water globes, pictures and picture frames from WDW, stuffed animals, McDonald's toys. I work for a child welfare agency, so the kids LOVE my room.

Hey, I see by your information that you are Chicago burbs. North or South?

If South, since I'm in Munster, right across the state line, I might just want to come over and check out that bathroom.

Here is my guest bedroom (my dog thinks its hers) - its since been painted tan and has bright red curtains. Most of the art is postcards that I had matted and framed.

It used to be a formal dining room:

Livingroom (at xmas , but you get the idea)

Disney has made a home for it's self throughout our whole house....these are just the pics I could find in a hurry.

Thanks to all of you for the compliments. It's been a fun work in progress, and we get compliments on it quite often. I was definitely scared of going so bold with the paint, but it was well worth it!

I don't have pix of every room w/disney...b/c it's all over

here are a few pix ...

there is a "highlight"...yes...Mickey is about everywhere in our house... we have the same bedding as the poster before...their guest bedroom I love it!!

The only entire Disney room I have is the playroom which is Peter Pan. But other parts of my house have Disney touches. I cannot add pics to my posts but if you care to look at the pictures of various areas of my house, you can see them at http://tarazandra.com/house/disney

I have the same outdoor light & welcome sign, although the light is hung outside the backdoor rather than out front.

We have touches of Disney throughout the house but my favorite is my curio cabinet with the snowglobes & other things. I've always wanted to do a room but no one else will agree to it so I'll just wait until the kids move out & take over one of their rooms.

should mention that were in the process of finishing the entertainment cabinet and that why the middle piece doesnt match...and i have another pic of my DD dresser in her room, she decided to draw mickey on it since she couldnt afford the one that was in the disney catalog that she liked...
