We are starting to redo our home office in a Disney theme. I am toying with the idea of doing a checkered floor for a "fun" effect. The colors in the office will be basically black & red, with touches of gray and white:
-black "modern" furniture
-red drapes with black poles
-black photo frames, red throw pillows
-Mickey wall border (BELOW)

Here's my poll question: Which color combo would you choose for a tiled floor from those in the above poll? :upsidedow

Is this a office where other pepole come professionally. If yes I think the mickey border should be avoided. Do the color schemed. I love the black and white combo with red.

No, my husband's customers do not come to our home. So it is a home office that we share. (I added a sample of the wall border to my OP.) Thanks for the vote! :upsidedow

border looks nice. take colors from it. do grey black and red. easier to maintain too than the white!!

I just bought that same border for my guest bedroom! We have a comforter from disneyshopping that's a light khaki & has Mickey in the middle. We're painting the lower half of the wall red and the top half a dark khaki. It doesn't exactly match the border, but kind of blends the gray of the border & the browns in the comforter.

Don't you just love that border?! :upsidedow Your color combos sound great! :thumbsup2

We used the same border (but in color) for our computer/play room.

I'd tend to shy away from white because it's harder to keep clean...

Now.....just to find the red tiles! I have searched everywhere it seems yet have not been able to find a "vibrant" "Disney shade of red" tile! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! :worship:
