OK, I hope what ever camera that was used to take this shot was set to "mirror" or something, because if you wife is driving and leaning over that far into the passenger seat, I can guarantee you I'm not looking as calm as you are here!

Barry you are the only one to pick up on the photo !!!! I am driving lol All photos for this trip report were taken with my cell phone (HTC evo) and it has the duel cameras and you can change the setting for mirror or not mirror and that is what went on here.It even threw me off at first and unless you see pictures with and without the setting on it is hard to visualize,but you must have that photographic keen eye

Yeah, you can really get a good nap in behind the wheel.

On the serious side though, that would be a brutal drive... putting in a long day at work tying up loose ends and then making that drive through the night.

Love the picture with the kids all crashed out on the couch... that's what vacation is all about.

Carl, Great TR so far, your Resort looks really cool, Hope you got some sleep on the ride down, I noticed you were wide awake sitting in the pass seat, (I'm like that too when my wife is driving)

Me, too! I cannot sleep while DW is driving... even if I have not slept in over 24 hours straight.

Sleeping while someone else is driving is very hard for me

Work all day, drive all night? And still conscious for the Dis Dads meet? Can't wait to see how you do the parks!

Not only was I awake but i showered and shaved before the meet also lol and anyone that knows me knows that shaving is not for me so the Dads should be honored.However I did not last long after the meet I was out like a light.

Day 1 Sunday​

Ok lets see. when I last left you guys, this was the status of my kids

Sunday morning started off with us getting up kinda late,It was about 8am.My wife and I took a nice little stroll over to the Artist Pallette to get some coffee and tea,while the kids went over to pops room to wake them up.The guest staying with my father has never been to Animal Kingdom,so guess where we decided to go? That's right you guessed it, we went to

Wow you guys are smart!!! Guessing we would go to Animal Kingdom.Ok well on with the program.After our nice little bus ride,we entered the park and went right to the safari.

Enough with pics of the animals we all know what they look like.From the safari we headed on over to the tree of life.Believe it or not I have no new pics of the treeOnce there we go into its tough to be a bug.As always the kids ( even the older ones)enjoyed the show.I just wish I had my camera ready when the bugs made their exit... lol The look on Kathy's (my fathers guest) face was priceless when she jumped up!!!

I think the bug glasses are the coolest of styles also.After all the bugs have made their way out we headed over to Everest to use the fast passes I had gotten earlier (which I failed to tell you I went over and got them).My daughter are like oh are we going on the backwards ride? I had to keep telling my youngest son that it would be fun.The girls were starting to scare him.Well we make our way over to Everest and before riding I grab some more fp's.Now we get in line ,and the whole time i keep telling my youngest that it will be fun, For some reason i dont think he was buying it.We get through the lines and yes we get the last seats,( which the kids like for this ride).

After riding we meet up with my wife who was the only one out of the 8 of us not to ride.At this time everyone is getting hungry so we make our way over to get something to eat.Wife goes and grabs a table while rest of us wait in line for food.We get our food and go over to table to eat. While eating these guys playing on the drum come out and start to danceand perform for the crowd that is building.Well I had made the mistake of eating fast. Just as I had finished eating the performers were going and picking people out of the crowd to come up and dance with them.They were picking adult/child combinations.Yea you guessed it they picked me and my older son to go up and dance.Well let me tell you my son busted some moves.Me on the other hand needed some dance lessons.I have provided the link here for the video of my son and I.I am the one in the Steelers shirt and my son is the redhead.

How far were you from Artist Palette? I love Saratoga Springs, but that place is soooo big and spread out.

Daaaaang he's close!

We stay in the Grandstands section.I do agree the place is huge and spread out but we like it there.The room we got this yr was the furthest we have ever been away from a pool.

I told you guys this was my first trip report,and I am not much of a writerBut I guess I should feed you more info on the subject matter I will get better with some details as I go along( we will grade my report on the curve scale!!!)
He was the one with the real serious look in the pic.Once we got on the ride he still wasnt sure about it.As the ride went on he loved it.Got off and he was like cool
