Disney Dayz @disneystore.com

Disney Dayz is a new promotion that is being used on purchases in TDS and on line. It was just instituted 2 weeks ago, so my guess would be the company will have to see how it is playing out with the public, what works/doesn't work, tweek it to fit and make a worthwhile program. My thinking will be it will be around for awhile, to see how it all goes.

There are some great deals to be had with these promos. By qualifying for the Donald Dollars, you are in essense getting $50 worth of merchandise for $25 when you redeem it, so that is 50% off that purchase! If you manage to buy any sale merchandise in that quest to get to $50, you are really getting good value. I think overall it is a great program and hope they stick with it for awhile.

I looked at it a little differently. You have to spend $50 to receive the gift certificate and then spend another $50 to use it. So, you get $25 off $100, or 25% off. Not a big enough discount for me!

Peg, yes, what you are saying is true. But, if you were going into the store or on line to make a $50 purchase, and received the Donald$ as a gift for making that purchase, you are getting a good deal, and anything else you might want to purchase, you would now have $25 towards that $50 purchase.

Everyone see's savings in a different light, I personally don't think it is a bad deal when I was going in to purchase $50 worth of stuff to begin with, plus got a free storybook/plush, and come out with a savings coupon on that future purchase.

I think the best day is Wednesday--all that stuff for just $5.00

Of course those $5.00 Mickey Mondays were great too----$5.00 off $10.00. That's 50%.

Sale items - since Disney Online took away the Sales Tab all you have to do to find what items are on sale is type the word "sale" in the search box and all the stuff will come up.

We were just there today and we got the Mickey Money (5.00 of 10.00), spend 40.00 get the thumper and free book, spend 50.00 get 25.00 off 50.00 purchase next week.

I thought it was a pretty good deal since the Action Figure toys my daughters wanted were in the store. The Princess Barbie dolls were 9.99 each if you bought two, the shirts were 7.99 each if you bought two, and there were lots of clothes 33% off.

This is what we got.
Pochotontas Barbie Doll
Mulan Barbie Doll
Peter Pan Action Figure
Capt. Hook Action Figure
Mickey Music CD
Sleeping Beauty light chaser
Thumper Plush and Disney Animal Story Book

After the 5.00 coupon I paid 56.xx and got the 25.00 off 50.00 coupon to use next week.

Can someone tell me when the boys items go on sale (Tarzan Tuesday??) and if this includes the action figures? I want to get the other three and maybe can use the coupon next week for that day.

This is the first time I had been to the Disney Store in a while, we have been making trips to Disneyland every couple of months so I have been saving my money for that, but since our next trip isn't until Aug I have some extra money to spend this month. Plus my duaghters birthday is in May, so I am saving some of this stuff for that.

My mom just gave me $100 to buy Disney Dollars for the kids. Would this purchase count toward Donald Dollars????? If so, it would be smart for me to buy $50 now and $50 later right????

No, Donald $ are not given on passports, Disney Dollars, Gift cards and that type of merchandise.

Sorry, Disney Dollars are always excluded, as are park passes, etc.
