Disney Dayz @disneystore.com

PJ holder for girl's is a big pink pillow with a removable crown on top (held on with velcro). PJ holder for boys was Buzz Lightyear rocket.

I suppose the sales are ok. Personally I prefer to shop online than at my local disney store. Why? Because take this 15% Goofy Weekend thing. If I shop online I get 15% off plus my 10%disney club discount and best guest benefits of free shipping. Now why would I shop at the local store for the same item when I can get it much cheaper online and get both discounts not just one or the other. I just don't understand why they can't be conistent between the store, catalog and online when they offer the same merchandise and same promotions. Personally I think the Disney Stores have really gone downhill. I used to go in there and enjoy buying watches, adult clothing, collectibles, etc. but since they moved all the kids stuff up front and got rid of the stuff I used to buy probably 9 out of 10 times I walk in and leave with nothing. Before they changed their store layouts and stopped carrying certain items they have had much better sales I agree but yet it is for stuff I would never buy to begin with. To me if they are selling items for 75% off sends a signal that they are having a hard time moving the stuff out the door.

I think they have 75% off sales because they are way overpriced to begin with. I find all their cotton kids clothes shrink a lot, & don't hold up to numerous washing like say the clothes I buy from the Gap. Which is another store I refuse to pay full price in, but I am a very frugal shopper. My kids outgrow clothes at an alarming rate, & their tastes change so why should I pay full price for something that will only last 1 season, if I am lucky.

Also the economic climate has changed dramastically since 9/11. People are less likely to spend on "fun" items, & are way more practical with their money these days. I think many retailers are trying different sale tactics to lure customers in. I personally feel this particular promo of Disneys, while getting the customer to check in everyday, is more irritating because the value is just not there for the buck.

Which I suppose, in the end, is better for my credit cards ;) !

Can anyone describe the pj holders to me? I don't think I've ever seen them.

There are actually 6 different PJ holders that include:
2 that are pillows with princess crowns that are detachable... one has a pink pillow with purple tassles and the other a purple pillow with pink tassles.
A Princess Pony
An Eeyore
A Tigger
A Buzz Lightyear Rocket Ship.

If you don't see all of these styles, please ask the CM, and they will point them out, as they are not all together in the store.

The other things on special today are:
the Birthstone Marie (both sizes) and the Princess Maries
the Boo Doll with vinyl head and plush body
the lettice embroidered T's, peasant T's and comic book t's for girls
crowns, wands and princess shoes
the 2 pack Ballerina mini doll set... there are 2... one has Sleeping Beauty and Belle and the other Cinderella and Snow White
All Mini Bean Bag Plush.

The items at our store that were $5 with a $25 purchase were kids underwear, the small Baloo plush, Young Simba plush and Stitch as dog plush.

The Wish Wednesdays so far seems to be very popular, and I hope it continues!

Wow Wish Wednesday sounds pretty good >OF course the one day I missed both weeks. LOL Were these deals available online? Did they offer them to you once you bought $25.

The other PJ keeper (and the biggest one I think) looks like a "cabin" and says "Adventurers" on it. I think it has pictures of some of the Adventurers on it too.

Last Wed. when the Maries were on sale for $5 I decided to buy one for our office manager who had to put down her cat a couple of weeks ago. I brought it to her the next day and she started BAWLING! She really appreciated the gift and it sure didn't cost me much.

Tiggeriffic Thursday today had pretty good deals. If you spent $50, you received a free thumper/animal stories gift set, $25 in Donald Dollars and a free jelly pop. I was able to use my DC card and they did have T-shirts still on sale, so I stocked up for our upcoming trip!:D

Svenson,
Have you ever been to Gymborree?

Well, if you have, Donald Dollars are like Gym bucks.

If you haven't, here's the story:
Spend $50 pretax, post any discounts and receive $25 in Donald Dollars to be used at a future date toward any purchase $50 or more pretax, post discounts. The redemption date on the Donald Dollars given out today is between April 21st and April 27th.

Yesterday I noticed that Disneystore.com had "sale" items listed, which they hadn't done since Disney dayz started. So I bought a comforter set with the free pillow. Then today I got an email from them saying my $25 Digital Donald Dollars have been shipped. I'm not being charged for this, and have no idea what this is/ Does anyone know? Thank you!

I'm sorry!
I asked about the Digital Donald Dollars and I found the answer a few posts back!

$25 DIGITAL DONALD DOLLARS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It's me again, and I'm confused. This is the email that was sent to me. Does this mean I'm getting a discount certificate in the mail, since it says it's being shipped? Can I use it online or only at the regular store?
