There are normal people out there too! I especially found match to be a very easy way to meet well educated men. And thanks to Google I was able to verify that the men I met at least worked where they said they did.

Well it's good to hear that someone had luck with match........it seems like I have been on there an eternity and all that want to meet me are "middle aged used car salesman" I tell everyone I get the "viagara set"! I've tried Match & Cupid.com, met some nice guys. Yes I've met a few that the pictures were way old.

I don't think it's desperate at all. It's a great alternative to going to a bar (that I think is desperate when you're over 40) You get to sit in the comfort of your own home and get to know someone.
