Sorry for the picture overload but it was so nice out.
You could see part of the old River Country water park. I wish that we had visited it before it closed down.

This was on the opposite side of the boat on what used to be called Discovery Island (I think that was the name.)
Even though we arrived early, there were already quite a few people there milling around. A castmember approached us and told us that they were asking guests to start forming a line so they could start taking pictures. Some had chosen not to have the picture taken but I had purchased the Memory Maker so we had our's done. We made a potty stop before the show. Lots of people line up to get inside but we normally stand off to the side and then enter when it's less crowded. The tables are assigned so there's no real reason to rush in.
We had chosen the 8:30 p.m. show because, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you can have Category 1 seating if you attend the later show. Seemed like a good trade-out to us. And, we were extremely pleased with our table. We were in the second row of tables by the stage.
Not long after being seated, the food started coming out! First were the salad and the cornbread and butter.
