Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

Sounds like a good ride on Jungle Cruise and Under THe sea! How funny he has never bothered to tell you that he doesn't enjoy Jungle Cruise!

Finally all caught up, that'll teach me for being away from the DIS for about 6 months :rotfl:

It sounds as though you're having a lovely fun trip, long visits are definitely the way to go :goodvibes

Great update, Lisa (I see you were able to fix your title of your TR :thumbsup2).

I sure couldn't have breakfast at the MK and then leave without doing anything. Nope...wouldn't happen.

I have to admit I'm kind of with John...NOT a fan of Jungle Cruise. I'm never upset if we miss it, but Mark does enjoy it so we will do it from time to time.

Nice job on the getting the guys on Mermaid. I have to say here that Mark hates the ride. But he, like John and Hunter, won't complain because he knows I love it.

John thinks that the Jungle Cruise is "stupid" or at least that's what he told me just the other day.

 Blashpemy!

Our Captain was so very kind and screamed "GET OUT!" in a joking way, of course.

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

My guys are so very sweet! They never once complained that I had selected this as one of our attractions for the day.

See, I would have been complaining about using a FP on this one long before I complained about the Jungle Cruise. Different strokes! :rotfl:

It is pretty hard not to go on any rides in the MK. Originally, I'd planned to just eat breakfast at CP on my upcoming trip and then go back to the resort, but then I told myself to be real and book a FP for afterwards. :rotfl:

The Jungle Cruise is cheesy and slightly predictable, but that's what makes it so fun. It's one of those classic Disney attractions that you have to go on at least once a trip.

I for one could definitely NOT go into MK, eat a meal, and then walk back out! I don't blame you a bit for making some FP+!
Hehe I love the Jungle Cruise for it's corny jokes.
Under the Sea - another great choice. Nice pictures!

Our breakfast with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger done, we were ready to venture into the parks. Remember when I said that this was supposed to be an off day?
WHAT were you thinking?!?! :scared1: :sad2:

Yeah, well, after I made the Crystal Palace ADR I figured why not spend a little time in the park. I mean, really, we were right there and who can walk into the Magic Kingdom, have breakfast and walk right back out? I can....said no one EVER!

AHHH! Much better. :yay:

Sounds like a good "off" day at Magic Kingdom so far!

Yeah, it wasn't so much of an "off" day was it? WINK! WINK!

Sounds like a good ride on Jungle Cruise and Under THe sea! How funny he has never bothered to tell you that he doesn't enjoy Jungle Cruise!

John is a man of few words. I guess the words "Jungle Cruise sucks" were something that he didn't feel were necessary during any of our other trips.

Welcome back! We were having a wonderful vacation!

I'm so sad - the new DisBoards seem to not be e-mailing me when there are new replies, even though I set it to do so!! I love this report so much and am glad I only missed a page or so of comments. Can't wait to see the next chapter! We are at 102 days out right now and it's so exciting but so hard to wait.

I do like the FP+ system except for the tiers at Epcot and HS. It does seem to work better with MK if you have multiple days in the park.

How dare John think that one of Walt's original rides is stupid. I think he may just need to be disowned! :rotfl2:

Loved the trips through the Jungle Cruise and Little Mermaid!

I'm with you on FP+. I like it. We were very happy with it on our trip, and even scored big-ticket FP+ (TSM, Test Track, Soarin') after using our original 3 for the day.

And Jungle Cruise stupid? No. No way. That ride is perfect the way it is. We had the best skipper last trip and we laughed so much.

Your pictures on LIttle Mermaid turned out great!

There was no way that I was going to enter the park, eat breakfast and then leave. No way!

Our hubbies are so sweet!

Well, we did have three days at the Magic Kingdom so I was fine with using a FP on the Jungle Cruise. Had we not, I would have used it on another attraction.

It is pretty hard not to go on any rides in the MK. Originally, I'd planned to just eat breakfast at CP on my upcoming trip and then go back to the resort, but then I told myself to be real and book a FP for afterwards. :rotfl:

Smart thinking...make those FP for something right after even if you end up not using it. As if you wouldn't. LOL!

I like the Jungle Cruise and make sure that we see it every single trip.

Apparently, I wasn't thinking. UGH!

To be quite honest, I don't like the new Dis. It's too tough to navigate. Maybe after they fix the email notification issue, I'll get back in the groove of the Dis.

I am not a fan of the tier system either. Thankfully, we have enough time to revisit the parks that have that system in place.

It's nice to hear that you are with me on the new FP system. I really like it.

Thanks on the pic compliment. Usually, my pictures on dark rides are really bad.

I feel the same way! I've found myself losing interest in the boards now that I have to search like heck to find out what I am missing

I have got where I go to the watch threads and read the ones I have missed all at one time. I check each time I get a chance. The alerts lets me know I have missed something. When I have finished reading a thread I just go back to the top of the page and hit watched threads again, until I have caught up.

Hey ya'll! Remember me? Mickeystoontown? Lisa? Writer of this trip report? I'm sorry that I haven't been around much. This "new" Disboards has taken some getting used to on my part. I am no longer getting email notifications when someone posts and, while I know that there are alerts now, I just don't like it. Quite honestly, I've found myself withdrawing more and more from the Dis. It may seem dumb/silly/odd that something as simple as email notifications would throw me for a loop but it has. Anyway, I apologize for not being around more often. I have most of the pictures for my next two updates organized. I just have to get off my dang butt, get some pep in my step and write them. I promise that I'll try to get this report rolling full force again!

It's taking me some getting used to as well. But I've got the hang of it now. I never got email alerts...didn't want them. But I am understanding the alerts. I just wish I knew if the author had updated...that would be nice.

I actually turned off the alerts button because having that little number at the top was driving me nuts. I just click on the "Watched Threads" button a few times a day and see if there are any updates that way.

How can you tell if there are any updates that way? It doesn't show who posted last.

Actually it does tell me who posted last. The last column on the page is labeled "Last Message" and it shows me who was the last person to post to the thread. But I also just go through each thread once in the morning to see all the new posts. Then during the day, I look for posts by the author in that "last message" column or a change in the title to indicate a new update. If you are looking on your phone, you need to turn it sideways in order for the "last message" column to show up.

Love the Crystal Palace meal! We had dinner there last time and it was great! Good food and great seeing Pooh and his friends!

Have you had your DisneySide party yet, Lisa?
