Some Dads like hunting. Some like football. Some like Nascar.
I like vacationing - and planning Disney vacations so that my family gets the most out of our visit is one of my favorites. Commando vacationing.
We did a recon mission to Disneyland a few years back - just a quick 2 day trip. We're heading back for 3-4 days late this year and wanted to see if there are any other Disney Dads who would be willing to share your tips to avoid the crowds and make sure that your families get the most out of the Disney trip. Like most people we're going to be drawn to attractions that are typically crowded (World of Color, Fireworks, Parades, Star Tours, Cars Land) and, with a 5 year old in tow, staking out a seating location 3 hours early probably won't be possible.
What are your tips and tactics? We're at T-9 months and counting... I can already taste the Dole Whip. Game on.
