Hi
I've just found this thread and thought I'd put my opinion
I've been on 6 disney cruises of all lengths -3, 4 7 and 12nights
I get really bad motion sickness - cant do the star wars ride at wdw or travel in the back of a car however I have no problems on the cruise ship.
Well there was only one night on my first cruise when we were in bad weather and the ship was going up and down all night -I felt very queezy however I never thought about taking sea sickness tablets. I found out the next day that they have them free in a jar outside the medical centre on deck1.
After that I do take some tablets that my gp recommened (so they didn't conflict with my other medication) and I've not had a problem.
I find the cruise very relaxing and its a good way of getting a hint of another country. I have never cruised with any other cruise company - -I cruise Disney as I feel confident with them and I know what there standards are - does that make sense?
Finally regarding brits on a cruise - last year I did a 12 night med cruise . It was amazing -our dis cruise meets thread was nicknamed the Brits cruise as we had quite a few families on from the uk (I think 6 or so) Even so we were a small minority. There were still a lot of American families.
There was very little advertising - the only thing i saw was an article in the travel section of the sun - which actually had its facts incorrect.
For 2010 I am hoping for another European cruise - in the
dcl board it seems from dectective work that the baltic cruise finish mid/end july leaving 4 weeks of unknown; As school does not finish till 23rd JUly in 2010 I'm hoping the magic will stick around long enough for me

We'll find out on Oct 7th as that is when disney releases the 2010 schedule.
Sorry for rambling on - DCL is my favourite topic
