Disney Cruises???

I've never been on one.
But my aunt, uncle, and cousins have and they said it was a blast.
Have fun!
:]

I'm going on a cruise in February. My mom always looks at the DCL boards. She said that you should bring an over the door shoe rack to keep sun-tan lotion and stuff like that in there. And if your thinking of taking the disney cruise line bus,i wouldn't reccomend it. My mom said that there has been times when the bus was really late and the people on the bus missed most of the sailaway party.

Go to the Stack/A Loft right after your dinner...this way you will meet knew friends right away and its hard to make friends after the 2nd day because the cliques have already formed. Umm, i also suggest doing a lot of the activities, most of them seem really dumb, but they are actually pretty fun.
You get what you put in on these cruises

Have fun! I'm going on one in March, and it'll be my third cruise on DCL.

Definitely look at the DCL boards. They have tons of tips, and I've learned so much just by reading these boards.

Also, definitely do the activities on the ship. They're fun. I didn't do many on my last two cruises, so I'm looking forward to doing as much as I can on my next one.

Also, time flies by so quickly on the ship! Don't just sit around in your cabin watching tv - get up and do stuff! If you sit around watching tv you'll be sorry when the cruise is over.

The ships aren't big at all, so you won't get lost. :thumbsup2

But from my many many cruises, definately bring:
-A highlighter. So you can highlight what you want to do during the day in the day planners.
-Over the door shoe hanger. Maybe even two. That way you can use one for the closet and one for the bathroom.
-A blender. It's a lot cheaper. You can bring fruit from the buffet to your room and make your own smooties instead of buying them :teeth:

And you should really go to the stack (or whatever it's called nowadays, I haven't been on a DCL in forever) the first night so you can meet people. It's way easier.

I love Disney Cruises!!!

1-HANG with the counselors-they have the inside scoop, and are at times WAY more fun to hang out withthan the other teens! Besides the fact that they are usually from sweet places and have cool accents! :yay:

2-DON'T constantly worry what you look like! Too many girls spend half the cruise in their cabin primping! I guarantee that you will have more time to make new friends and great memories!

3-KEEP IN TOUCH! Take lots of pictures and write down everyone's name! I met a girl from South Africa named Sonja on a DCL in 2004 and we STILL try to keep in touch! Hey, you never know when you'll be in their part of the world!

Have a magical journey & as DCL would say...

BON VOYAGE!
