disney cruise with points

We are buying into DVC and trying to decide on points. How many points does it take to do a Disney cruise....2 adults and 2 children. Just an approximate amount......not the cheapest category. Or where can I find this info? I realize we will have to bank and borrow, but we are just trying to get an idea.

The short answer is too many. Email me and I'll send you a pdf of the cruise points. The cruise usually works out to around $6.50 to $7.50 return pp at the best.

This might help...I looked into points for our 4 day cruise next April. 2 adults and 3 children. For the adults it is 163 points each, 53 points for my 7 yo and 47 points each for my 4 and 5 yo's. Grand total...426 points just for the 4 day cruise. The cruise is costing us $3200 in cash. So if I rent those 426 points out at the going rate of $10/point, I can pay cash for the cruise and have over $1000 spending money. We decided NOT to use points for the cruise. I am going to rent them.
