Disney Cruise to St. Maarten Excursions ideas?

just the thread i was looking for. Second time on a Disney EC cruise and none of the Disney excursions in St Maarten excite me...but have to make sure- Soualiga Destinations is a non-Disney excursion- correct?

Correct it is a non-Disney excursion. They gave us plenty of time to make it back to the ship.

thanks for the input...i saw that page for Soualiga Destinations and need to ask- everything was secure making a reservation off that dinky web page? don't mean to be offensive as all the reviews seem great but i was taken back when i googled it, saw the page and struggled to find how much and how to pay...

We merely walked to the beach which was about a 15 to 20 min walk and rented chairs at the beach for cheap. It was perfect for us. Husband got a cheap beer in the bottle to boot! Didn't have to spend a ton.

Contact them through the web page. They'll send a quote. They accept deposits via PayPal and payment for the remainder by cash the day of your tour.

I emailed Captain Bob directly and paid the deposit via Paypal and then paid the remaining balance in cash on the day of the excursion.

We unfortunately didn't do any excursions but we did go to Maho Beach, which is an experience all of its self! Seeing the planes that close is cool and you get some great pictures. Plus the beach is clean and blue! But I'd advise you get there early because it can get a bit crowded as the afternoon goes on. :] Have fun!!!

How did you actually get to Maho Beach? I haven't done much research yet because I don't have a cruise currently booked there, but it's one that I'm definitely going to make happen sooner rather than later! I really need to see those planes!
