I haven't received my confirmation letter yet. When should I get that? We are cruising in December. I would think that you could make reservations for excursions and such further out than 75 days. This is my first cruise....obviously.
Relax! You have plenty of time!
For first-time cruisers, you can make reservations for the Spa, excursions, Palo, etc. 75 days before embarkation. Returning cruisers (
Castaway Club members -basically anyone who has cruised on Disney before) can make those reservations at 90 days, provided they have made final payment. Anyone in a suite or on the REAS package can book at 105 days.
Also not that for Palo and I think the Spa, they hold some times/reservations back to book after embarkation on the ship.
At some point after you get your confirmation from
DVC, you'll get some stuff from
DCL directly. There's one packet that includes catalogs of excursions, on-board gifts, and other things you can book when your timeframe opens. I think we got ours for our June 1 4-night about a week before our Jan 19th 7-night, so they must send them out about 6 months in advance (if you're booked that far). I honestly wouldn't worry about getting into the DCL site to start thinking about what you want to do until then - especially since even that arrives far before anyone is able to start booking.
