HI fellow Disney Cruisers!! I just came home from my Mexican Riviera cruise and I seriously had the best vacation of my life!!! Everything about this trip was fun, wonderful, and relaxing. I got to do so many things that I never thought I’d do. I rode on an ATV in Cabo, rode on a wave runner in Mazatlan, and got kissed by sea lions in Puerto Vallarta. On board, I took advantage of everything the Disney Magic had to offer and believe me, it was magical!!! I used one of the spa villas and it was wonderful! I took in movies at the Goofy Pool and drank the drinks of the day while soaking in the Quiet Cove pool. At night, I saw amazing Broadway shows, ate great food (chocolate soufflé rules at Palo!), and danced at Rockin’ Bar D. Rockin’ Bar D was the coolest club ever been to and I meet some great friends there. And we had the best social director ever (David), who made everyone get up and dance and serenaded us with his guitar and singing. I loved every second of my trip, so much so that my best friend and I booked a Western Caribbean cruise for August of 2009. God bless! Happy Mickey

Sounds truly magical! We did the cruise before you and it was great. It was our 3rd cruise all on the Magic and each one just gets better.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

You're welcome. I'm glad that you enjoyed my report. I'm gonna post pictures as soon as I get them organized. Thanks again! Jenai

Hi fellow Disney cruisers: I know I provided a brief description of my Mexican Riviera cruise but I really wanted to give more details into the day-to-day activities of my trip. I’ll also be providing pictures. OK, here goes.

Day 1, August 10; First Day at Sea: My best friend and I started our day with breakfast at the Storytellers’ Café at Disney Grand Californian Hotel. We loaded up in the motor coach and drove to the World Cruise Center, where we boarded the Disney Magic. As we waited for our stateroom to be ready, we got lunch at Topsider’s Buffet and I made my spa villa appointment. Once our stateroom was ready, we placed out suitcases in and got ready for the dreaded, but necessary safety drill. Afterwards, we got our cameras ready for the Adventure’s Away party on Deck 9. We took pictures, drank frozen drinks, danced, and waved our blue ribbons around. We were introduced to the amazing cruise staff, including, Christaan, the cruise director and David, the social director. After dancing and singing and seeing the characters, we went back to our stateroom to take pictures of the incredible view and to get ready for the “Let the Magic Begin” show, which gave all cruisers a taste of the entertainment to come onboard. Then, off to Parrot Cay for dinner to meet new friends. To cap off a great first night, it’s off to the movies on Deck 9!!! We took in Mary Poppins, as best friend kept warm in her sweatshirt; I kept warm in the whirlpool where I met a sweet lady and her equally sweet daughter. We all agreed that it didn’t get than this, soaking in a hot tub while watching Mary Poppins. But knowing Disney, they’ll take it up a notch or two. Well, it’s off to bed!!!

Day 2, August 11: Day at Sea: Our second day on the Disney Magic started off with best friend and me sleeping in and being in relaxation mode. Then, off to the spa for some time in the rainforest room and a hot stone massage!!!! The hot stone massage was the best hot stone massage I ever received in my life!! It was perfect!!! Afterwards, lunch with my best friend and relaxing by the Quiet Cove Pool. Then, taking in “High School Musical” at the Goofy Pool. Then, since I love the spa, I decided to try my hand at Bingo at Rockin Bar D (which, I didn’t know, would become my home away from home). I didn’t win anything but who cares? I had fun!!! Now, back to Walt Disney Theater for the Golden Mickeys!!! It was an awesome show!!!!!!! Then, back to the stateroom to get ready for formal night. After posing for pictures in the atrium, we had dinner at Luminere's. Then, best friend and I caught second half of Ricky Kalmon’s hypnotist show for the adults at Rockin Bar D. After laughing hysterically at the show, the Leonard Brothers Band and social director David took the stage. They announced that they were giving away spa certificates, so to the dance floor I go!!!! While best friend relaxed and had a drink, I made a beeline for the dance floor. My persistence paid off: I won two spa certificates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!! I danced for a little while longer and then, before I knew it, it was 12:30 am. Off to bed!! I need my energy for Cabo!!!

I love these towel animals!!!
