Disney Cruise Line Wedding

My DF and I are in the beginning stages (waiting for DFTW to contact us back) of planing a DCL wedding and are SO excited! We are looking at a 4-day cruise on the Dream this winter. Any other cruise like brides out there? I'm looking for any and all advice and suggestions from how many people to invite to photography and cake.

We were thinking of doing one of the extra dining experiences like Remy with our guests the same day. Has anyone done something like this?

Also, I know they give you the time/date of the ceremony.. Is there a time/day of the trip they tend to choose?

We live in Orlando and my DF is a concierge at Disney.. Are there cast member/Florida resident discounts?

Hi! We did an onboard ceremony on Jan 20. I have a PJ but have been very behind in my TR. So to answer some of your questions, the day of the ceremony definitely depends on the cruise that you are doing. So for us we did the 4 night cruise and the onboard ceremony was the day the ship was docked at Nassau which was the second day. Our ceremony time was 4pm because we had our ceremony out on the Meredian Patio. We had a very small guest count, we only had 8 guests plus our 2 photographers. For our wedding dinner we reserved the Palo Private room and paid the additional $20 for our guests. That meal was amazing. The private room can only be reserved for up to 10-14 guests.

OH, I'm not a cast member but I believe you do get a discount. You should try to contact Jillian. She got married over a year ago and her and her husband are both cast members. Her PJ also had a lot of good DIY ideas

That's so helpful!! We were thinking onboard at the Outlook. I love the idea of dinner after, I'll have to read your PJ! And thanks!! I'll have to look for her!
