I just ordered the dvd vacation planning kit from the disney cruise website and wondered what is included with it. I ordered the old video version a few months ago. Does this one have a ton of new features like the new disney world dvd?

It seems to...just came in the mail today, so I haven't looked at it yet, but the brochure inside lists items like a tour of the ship, staterooms, and "Making of the Magic." More when I check it out!

The DVD is great!!! Lots of tours of different parts of the ship. I especially loved the stateroom tours. You will enjoy it!

I just poked around on the DVD, and "Making of the Magic" is what I thought it was...the film they show on the Magic at one of the talks that discusses the building of the ship. I'm excited to have it at home now!
I love the info. on the staterooms and the footage of the shows, but it makes me feel homesick. I HIGHLY recommend the DVD...so much more fun than a videotape.

OH, Im sooo excited! I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago. I am tired of having to rewind my old video over and over again. I did not see the making of the Magic on our trip, oh I can't wait!

:sunny: I just orrdered mine to. I ma excited to that is on DVD now.

In the "teen" section, does it show the new area on the Magic, "The Stack"?? I just ordered my DVD last night. I recently got the DVD for Disney World and it's fantastic! They really seem to be putting a lot of great info into the DVDs :)

I thought I had ordered this already, but it was well over a month ago (I'm thinking before the holidays). So I've ordered it again.

Can't wait to see the new features.

Thanks for the info, I just ordered my new DVD to show my boys before we sail in March (Hopefully it gets here in time).

Yes, the DVD does show the new teen area, " the stack". The DVD is awesome. So much better than the video. By the way, it took almost 2 months to receive mine after I ordered it.

We definitely didn't wait a month for it. I did it via Disney's website, and I think it wasn't more than three weeks ago at most.
I know it might sound crazy after 36 cruises, but we still order the video every year. The one video that I wish I could see again was the original from the preview center at WDW before the Magic even set sail. I remember it featured Mickey and "Crystal," a talking head in a crystal ball that must be a cousin to Leota in "Haunted Mansion." I think it covered both the Animal Kingdom and the cruise line. I remember sitting in the theater and thinking, "Hmmmm, a Disney cruise. Maybe we should give that a try someday..." Famous last words!

I thought I already had this DVD, but it is different than the new WDW DVD Planner (which still includes the cruise line). I can't wait to get this in the mail!!!

I actually ordered it about 3 months ago. About one month ago, I got a letter from DCL saying that they were updating the information and would be sending it out shortly. So I'll be watching the mail!
