Originally some people picked November as the original CSO was set to expire Nov 1. I think overall it was an arbitrary date. This is the first im hearing about it. Just curious why wait until Nov? (I haven't been keeping up as much
as i should)

Ohhh that explains a lot. I thought maybe it was for more time to get vaccinations approved for under 12.Originally some people picked November as the original CSO was set to expire Nov 1. I think overall it was an arbitrary date.
Best case scenario is a 2 week delay. More likely they will postpone indefinitely and wait to see what happens with the CDC CSO and FL situation in early July. My gut tells me they will sail in 2021 but not until Thanksgiving/Christmas time
I cancelled my December 2021 cruise yesterday, because after reading about the RCL debacle, I began to lose faith in a normal cruise experience this year. There are also personal issues this year that make it a poor year to cruise. We're pinning our hopes on our December 2022 Dream cruise! Feels liberating to not have to worry about 2021 cruising anymore.I doubt DCL will sail out of the US in 2021.
Way to blame the victims. People have certainly had reasons for raised hopes, given how much of daily life has gone back to normal in Florida and other states, at Disney World, with other lines getting back to cruising, and with the CDC losing the first part of their court battle to control the cruise lines.Folks, you had to know there was a pretty big chance of a hick up after being shutdown for over a year.
I predict that another round of cancellations are headed our way.I'm so depressed after this news....I normally don't mind Disney's silence as I hate the back and forth other lines have done but this may be crossing a line for me. One way or another, they still have to say something in the next 10 days. Can you imagine if DCL gets to 30-days out of the next scheduled cruise and doesn't even publicly acknowledge that the test cruise got cancelled?
Sad but I agree.I predict that another round of cancellations are headed our way.

How on earth did a chide anyone? We KNEW there were going to be problems, which is the entire reason the test cruises are happening, to work the bugs out. If any thing I am praising those in charge at Disney for going....."whoa, we have an issue to workout"Way to blame the victims. No one has a crystal ball. It isn't nice to chide people who are hurting.
I was thinking the same thing. Why would they need to do a test cruise anymore?I don’t think they technically need to even do a test sailing since the cruises start after the July date with the CSO? (I know I’m mangling this) …. But if they had the crew ready to go, I can imagine they are going to push to get up and running ASAP.
I’m curious why you have kept so much money tied up with them. Why not cancel. They seem to have no trouble hanging onto all of our money without telling us much of anything. Celebrity is sailing now out of FL and Carnival and RCl are about to follow. I'm so very angry right now (and yes, I have a cruise coming up in September that seems pretty certain not to sail now and over $25K tied up with DCL right now).
