I have a question re: FE gifts. Are we supposed to put who its from on the gift??? Or do I just drop things off without anyone knowing who its from?

If I understand correctly, it is up to you. We have our names on the room gift but I won't put our names on the kids gifts.

Out of our 20+ Fe's I have done I dont think I have ever put my name on my gift. Just never had the time left to add that to the gift.

I may get around to it this time, but I am still making my gifts so we will see how much time is left.
I think of the gifts we have received it has been about half and half who added their name and who didnt.

So its just up to you.

YEAH!!!

If I can bring a pillow I would volunteer for a life boat! But it may be frowned upon..
On a serious note, in the pictures of our room I've seen, we have 2 full size lounge chairs on our verandah, are there any rules on napping out there? Random I know but I am taking full advantage of this deck!

Its your balcony, nap if you want or read a book, just watch the waves go by

Now sometimes while in port they power wash the sides of the ship so be prepared for water coming your way You'll be able to hear and see them doing this, but I thought i might warn you NOT to leave any clothes or towels out there, they might blow away or get power washed away!
Always keep the door closed unless your there.

We had a large balcony like that a couple times, its AWESOME!!


I have friends who love to do an early morning room service of juice, coffee and danish to eat on the balcony while kids are sleeping. Then go for a late breakfast.

Yay!!!! I'm keeping an eye on our weather up here too, so afraid of getting snowed in! It's only happened once before but you never know. Keeping our fingers crossed

I cant imagine doing it for 3 cruises!!
I have been working hard for 3 weeks on just this cruises gifts.
As soon as I get back I will do the same gift for my next cruise next month.

I don't gave a real list. I take :
1 pair jeans
1 light jacket or sweater for evenings
2 pairs shorts
1 swimsuit and coverup
Mix and match 2 blouses & 2 slacks with 1 skirt. I can wear the sweater to change the look.
1 pair black sandals for dinner, i wear tennis shoes onto the ship.
1 pair flip flops for beach time.
underwear and socks
1 short sleeve shirt and a tank top.

Now if I were going to Palos I would have 1 nice outfit too.

DH takes one pair jeans
1 light weight jacket
2 pair shorts
underwear and socks
1 tennis shoes
1 sandals
1 swim suit
1 pair slacks
3 shirts for dinner
2 t-shirts
1 tank top.
1 dress shoes for dinner

He wears the same slacks each day with different shirts at dinner. Lucky to get him out of jeans for dinner so no complaints about only one pair of slacks from me

Even with these few clothes I often dont wear them all. If my shorts stay clean I wear them more than once.

I like an over the door shoe hanger for toiletry items to be put in. Get it at the dollar store then throw it away at the end of your cruise. Makes room for souvenirs.

Of course toiletry items too.
I like their shampoo and conditioner and lotion so I dont bother with packing my own. That saves room too.

It seems I always over pack no matter how little I bring
It must be a cruise tradition.
