Disney Cruise Character Bean Bag Set

I found on Ebay a "Disney Mickey Cruise Line Bean Bag Set". It's a felt ship filled with cruise characters. (See link below). I thought this might be a great pre-Cruise gift item for DS4 and DD 2. Or-- if it's available on the ship, perhaps I'd wait and get it there for them. Any thoughts?

Has anyone who has cruised recently seen this in the cruise shops? If so, does anyone happen to remember the price?

This toy is available for around $40 at Mickey's Mates. My DD was seriously considering it, but it would take too much room in her suitcase!

This is definately sold onboard in Mickey Mates.....it goes for about $40 if I can remember correctly.

There was also a way to get it recently by a Breakfast Cereal promotion or was it buying Milton Bradley games?....I just remember a promotion recently with that as the premium.

You can buy it on the ship. Mickey's Mates was having them on special when we went last October for 1/2 price so I bought one for my DD. It is very cute and a decent size. Not sure if I would have paid $40 for it though.

It is sold on the ship, we paid the 40 bucks. But it is cute and a great memory of the cruise.

I did the MB promotion & with clearanced games & coupons that were on the back of the goldfish crackers last year manged to get 2 of the ships for $11 each. They did take up too much space to put them in the suitcases only to bring them back so they were home waiting for the kids on their beds when we got back from the cruise with notes from Mickey telling them he couldn't wait to see them again on the next cruise. They love to play with them. Also, the characters wash pretty well in the machine & dryer. Had to find that out the hard way.

Great! Just the info I was looking for. I've bid on them so we'll see what happens. The current bid certainly beats the onboard price of $40!
