They sent mine pretty quickly after I booked... but I got alot of help from a book too. I bought the digital version and it has alot of info about stuff not included in the packet like tipping and checklists.

thank you so much! Congrats on your wedding as well!!! How is all the planning going on your end? Do you know when they send the "planning packet"? :confused3 is it when your cruise is all paid for? :confused3

I'm not certain, but I think I read someone got to skip the lines to have character pictures taken on the ship with the onboard photographer.

Yes, they did allow us to skip lines and have our pictures taken with any characters that happened to be around while we roamed the ship with our disney photographer. We also wanted to "rent" Mickey and/or Minnie but that $500 price tag left us in complete sticker shock!

okay so it seems like i have the question of the days now lol

my 1st question is, is anyone including programs for their wedding day?

& my 2nd question is.. for the brides that are having the on board wedding in the evening.. are you joining your guest for a dinner at the regular rotation? I decided to go for that and have Palo on the 1st night as a celebration of being 'Legally married' lol (since you technically get married the 1st day of the cruise.)

No dress code for my wedding except "toes in the sand".

We are not doing programs however I am doing little Mickey fans to have on the chairs outside for the guests at my wedding.

We are not doing the Palo dinner, we opted for a wedding brunch the day at sea with our guests instead...I didn't want to be pulled off of dining rotation and this seemed like a nice idea for our guests :)

Eeek....I just realized I am 5 days away from 4 months out! I am paying for the wedding/cruise in 2 weeks..I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach like I don't want to part with all that money! :rotfl:

I truly cannot wait though and after we pay that off we get to move on funner things, like the welcome bags and the lil extras!!!

I am getting so excited! On a good note I contacted Shanda on Friday and she emailed me today with all my answers...that was pretty good timeframe! :cheer2:

I really want to do a Mickey program but I just don't think I have the patience to do them. I am going to do some type of program!

We are passing all together on Palo. We have done it several times and would rather eat with our family and friends!

I'm at 4 months tomorrow!!! T.he time is flying by. May I ask what questions you had for Shanda? It might be something others have too?

We are passing on Palos too as we do not want to get taken out of the rotation and I would like for everyone to be together. We are up to 59 people!

For dress code, I put in my newsletter No bathing suits or cover-ups. For guys, nice pants or shorts and shirt, for women, nice shorts, capris, etc. Mostly all of the girls I have talked to want to buy new sundresses. Flip flops are a must!

They were quite generic but I will put them up here when I get back from work, just on how I should book the wedding brunch and timing questions... :goodvibes

Shanda just let me know that toasting flutes are not included in the package, but the cake serving set is. So now I am on a mission to have some custom flutes made!

Oooh, good question. She didn't mention if they were or not. She just mentioned that if you were planning on bring your own flutes, to carry them on and not send them with the checked baggage.

Whoo hoo I was able to fill out my online check in papers. I love knowing it is less than 4 months!!!!

I see for a lot of DCL brides that this is crunch time for us! im getting so excited!! i finally got some time to update the planning journal with info about my planning guide decisions and much more starting on page 4 ending on page 5. yayyy:banana:
